Chapter 9: Invincible Universe

Finished with looking at the Earth from above, Mark teleports outside the universe, and looks back, admiring its beauty. Then he calls Sublime to his side, and he appears in a coalescent of multiple changing impossible and possible colors, actively taking the shape of man.

"Yes, Father?"

"What do you think of your plane?"

At this Sublime remains quite and looks to be thinking, then answers.

"I don't like the way it started or the way it would end."

"And what are your plans for this plane that houses my original world?"

"I will change it to fit my likeness, while keeping the elements that you know there."

"Good! You can go to sleep like your siblings now. Once you are ready, come to me."

"Yes, Father."

After saying that, Sublime's body explodes in a colorful display of power and lights. Mark looks at the universe in front of him and disappears as well, teleporting to a universe that he had seen and liked very much recently. The Invincible Universe.

Once in the universe, Mark looks around and notices that the universe and the planets seem more vibrant and livelier. They seem more alive than his own universe, probably because of the massive amounts of intelligent species out there and their influence on the universe.

Getting straight to it, Mark starts creating an identity for himself. He starts by setting limitations on the number of abilities that he can publicly use. These abilities will be Flight, Four Elements Manipulation, Super Strength, Super Speed, Super Durability, etc. the basic for Kryptonian copy races, except he can manipulate the elements.

Mark will not use more than these abilities publicly. Next came the organization, it will just be named the Coalition of Mentors, and their main purpose will be to teach other superpowered beings how to properly use their abilities. As for the back story of this character that he is creating, it will be the usual sap story.

Scientist became power hungry when he thought that their species was the strongest in the entire universe. This scientist went and tried using science to give himself more power by trying to manipulate the four fundamental forces of the universe. Unfortunately, in his first trial, he exploded the entire planet, and fortunately, his character was out of world when it did.

Seeing as for him to be thousands of years old, he would have to look older, he changed his body to become more muscular and look older. Now he is just behind Omni-Man in terms of muscle mass and height.

With all that done, Mark looked around the universe, searching for Earth or its solar system. When he did, he started to fly towards it at a moderate speed, which would be somewhere about half the speed of light. Earth was far from where he was.

"SIR, WE HAVE AN OBJECT HEADING ON A COLISSION COURSE WITH EARTH!!!" Yelled one the agents in the room. He was looking at the computer with an aghast look on his face, and soon began trembling from shock.

"I-I-It's… t-t-travelling at… *slight whimper*… h-half t-the s-speed of L-LIGHT!!!" The same agent said with much whimpering and fidgeting. He looked at Cecil, who just came into the room because he was just called over from his office and ran up to him. The agent grabbed Cecil by the collar of his shirt and yelled again, "WE ARE ALL DOOMED!!!", right to his face.

Cecil looked at the agent grabbing him and signaled towards the guards to get ready, next he grabbed the agent by his collar, set his foot behind the agents, and forced him to the ground. Cecil then stood up and signaled towards to guards to take him away.

"What the hell is going on and why did one of my agents just go insane?" Cecil asked the whole room before, someone pulled up the screen of the agent that had just been dragged away, while muttering something along the lines of, "we are all going to die."

When everyone in the room saw the screen, they all sucked in a deep cold breath, their spines tingled, and their faces dropped. Cecil forced himself out of the shock and asked, "Is this real?" The agents were still zooned out and did not respond, so he yelled, "IS THIS REAL?"

That awoke the agents right up and they all got to confirming the object, its trajectory, its speed, and everything else needed. When they were all done just minutes after, an agent voiced out, "Sir, its all real, and at the speed that its traveling at, it will reach us in a few hours."

"How did we discover it anyway? It's thousands of AU's (Astronomical Units) from us."

"The speed its going is the only thing we could notice, along with the lack of dust cloud."

"Speaking of which, what is it?" At this question, all the agents in the room stayed quite and did not respond.

"We… don't know, Sir."

"But from everything we have gathered, we believe it to be an alien." At this Cecil looked at the agent in front of him and asked, "As is Omni-Man?" The agent stayed quite but nodded his head slightly.

Cecil responds with a sigh and starts rubbing his eyebrows, then he says, "Ok, get me Omni-Man on the speaker. Let's see if he can stop something traveling at half the speed of light."

Getting close to Earth's solar system, Mark noticed that Omni-Man was already leaving the planet. Slowing down his speed, he soon entered the solar system and was immediately met with a solid punch to the face by Omni-Man. The punch landed but did not move Mark at all.

Omni-Man is slightly shocked by this but is not distracted and blocks a slap to his face, which he counters with a punch to the gut. The punch sends Mark flying, but he stops his momentum just in time to see Omni-Man flying towards him with his fist reared back, ready to deliver another punch.

However, Mark dodges the punch to the face from Omni-Man, then grabs his outstretched arm, pulls him close and knees him in the gut sending him barreling back. Mark quickly catches up to Omni-Man, flies behind him, interlocks his fingers and swings down with moderate force.

Omni-Man tried to fly away but was not fast enough to dodge the force of the attack. Mark again flies after Omni-Man to deliver more punches, but this time sees Omni-Man shielding his body. Seeing an opening on his ribcage area, Mark flies like he was going to punch, but at the last minute, he changes his movements and stabs his hands into Omni-Man's ribcage.

The stab starts drawing blood, Mark was about to take his hand out to draw more blood, but Omni-Man grabbed hold of his arm and used all his strength to hold it in place. Then Omni-Man reared his right arm back and threw a punch at Mark's face, Mark blocked the punch but the momentum behind it pushed them further into the solar system.

Mark was trying to defend himself from the barrage of punches and also trying to make Omni-Man release the grip he has on his left arm. Suddenly, because they weren't paying attention, they worked themselves deep into Jupiter's gravitational pull, but when they noticed, it was already too late, they were getting pulled into Jupiter's center.

Omni-Man finally let's go of Mark's hand and punches Mark closer into Jupiter, while his blood instantly freezes and gets pulled inside. Mark is punched deeper into Jupiter, but he catches himself, and starts fighting against the gravitational pull of Jupiter. Omni-Man is only a few hundred meters ahead of him, but he was getting further and further away the more time passed.

Omni-Man had just gotten out of the gravity well, and sped off, leaving Jupiter behind, and traveling very far off. With Omni-Man out of the well, Mark was just behind him and sped off after him, going faster than Omni-Man ever could, to catch up with him faster.

Reaching Omni-Man as he stopped and was turning around, Mark stopped right in behind of Omni-Man and just floated there. Mark then said, telepathically, 'We could stop fighting.' Omni-Man doesn't answer.

'I was never here to hurt or cause harm to your planet.' Omni-Man doesn't answer again.

'I was sent here by an organization named the Coalition of-' Mark is cut off by Omni-Man launching himself into Mark, tackling him towards Europa. When they crashed into the moon, they created a huge crater, spanning multiple miles deep and wide.

Crashing into a celestial object is not a fun experience for anyone, so when they crashed, Mark kicked Omni-Man in the gut hard enough to make him wheeze. Luckily, they were on a moon with oxygen, albeit only oxygen, but it would work for Omni-Man. So, he took a big whiff of oxygen into his lungs, coughed the extra out, and got back to flying at Mark and trying to punch him.

Mark, getting tired of this useless fight, decided to end it, and so, he flew straight at Omni-Man with enough speed to cleanly fly through a planet the size of Earth and slammed into him. Omni-Man was launched out of the atmosphere of Europa, but was neither dead nor unconscious, just really, really pissed off.

In a moment of extreme anger, Omni-Man tried to copy the move used on him just now but was unsuccessful when he couldn't get the same speed. Still, the speed he got was enough to launch Mark flying towards Earth.

This fight continued for hours and hours, bordering on a full 24 hours, and with each hour, they got closer and closer to Earth. The closest they got to Earth in their fight, was the Moon, which is now littered with multiple craters miles wide with an unknown depth.
