114. ADVENTURER VS THE DRAGON! (1)

Klaus was sitting with Seraphim right now, looking around him just then

"Klaus you ok there?"

Suddenly Brock and his family came to Klaus asking about his health, Brock was grinning while making gestures towards Klaus and Seraph

"There is no problem with me, I'm fine!"

"It's a relief then ... but who is she?"

Brock sighed in relief and asked about the world defying beauty besides Klaus, Klaus looked at Seraphim and after some quick thoughts

"She's my friend, she just arrived here somedays ago and by coincidence she was here to help!"

"It's good that she was here, or I don't think that this city would have survived without her and you!"

"Yeah mister! You are even better than what those guys told!"

Suddenly Merie said to Klaus with shiny eyes, then Zoya and her twins also came!

"Are you alright Sir Klaus?"

Zoya asked as she arrived there, the twins were also looking at Klaus and Seraphim curiously

"I'm fine no need to worry to much..."

"ok ..."

Klaus answered, then looked at Zoya and says jokingly

"Looks like with all these monsters you won't have to worry about money for a whole year, haha!"

"I think so too..."

Zoya looked arround her about 25% of all monsters were killed by Klaus alone and most of them were S and A rank monsters

Another 33% were killed by Seraphim who focused on saving more adventures and clearing more monsters in one shot

Brock, Kathy and Zoya didn't have words to describe Klaus's achivements, they looked arround them with amazement

After that slowly all the peoples present there started gathering in front of Klaus along with their families and friends

Klaus was puzzled because of sudden movement and asked

"What is it guys...?"

But just then all of them bowed to Klaus with unison to express their sincerity

"Without you we won't be living here!"

"We are so grateful that we can't describe!"

"Thank you for saving my family!"

"I will always be grateful!"

"Thank you for protecting my father..."

"Thanks sir Klaus.."

All of the adventurers and their families gathered there to thank Klaus, Klaus was still surprised and thought 'Well refusing their thanks will be rude, being too polite is also not a good thing...'

"Well of course you are but I think you all also tried your best, you are first one to step outside to fight monsters

You had resolved yourself for death, you yourself are responsible for today's victory

I and Seraph just helped you a little, you shouldn't think of me as hero or something, it's all for money here, hehe

Everyone looked emotional at start, their families had tears of joy in them but last words of Klaus made the adventures smile

With that all of them left slowly with happy cheerful faces, the guild members also started collecting useful corpses

Klaus also stood up along with Seraphim to go inside the City and rest and start progress for last step of Ruining the Rudy

"You look quite happy Klaus"

Seraphim said while observing Klaus who was looking at peoples leaving with their families and friends and busy gaurds who were running around checking the damages

"Do I?"

Klaus questioned with smile looking at happy faces

"Looks like today's a great day for me then"

Seraphim saw the glow on Klaus's face and she also smiled, but just then both Klaus and Seraphim stopped from their tracks

And both looked backward towards the direction of forest with cautious gazes

Their eyes saw a figure flying straight towards them, Klaus was able to observe the creature and he immediately shouted

"Get inside the City!!! Fast!!!"

Everyone looked at Klaus with confusion and some of them asked

"What happened?"

"There are no monsters left right?"

"It's it another wave?"

But some of experienced veteran adventures who have faught monsters for years immediately sensed danger ahead

The beastmens who had very monstrous instincts and elf who were extremely sensitive to mana also sensed the monster flying towards them

Their feets trembled with fear and all of them immediately ran towards the city

"It's not a time to think run!!!"

"It's not something we can handle..."

"it's super strong.."

"Run for your lives!!!"

Many experienced adventurers, Elves and beastmens shouted while running towards the city.

After that other who saw these strong beings to run like that, they understood the danger and also went inside the City

"Close the gates!!!!"

The gates were closed immediately, Brock, Kathy and Zoya met inside the City with their kids

"Did you see Klaus?"

"No I also searched he isn't here!"

"I also didn't find Klaus with magic, he isn't inside the City!!!"

All of three of them stood there with panicked faces full of worry, a thought came to their mind and all three immediatly ran towards the top of City walls

As they arrived there they observed the gaurds were also there along with their captain looking towards Seraphim and Klaus' back

Klaus wasn't wearing his hood cover his face anymore and his silvery hairs which were tied to back were waving in air because of strong air

Seraphim was also not covering her head with hood and her platinum blonde hairs were also waving in air

After that they observed the figure in sky which was moving extremely fast, even faster than speed of sound leaving shockwaves

Slowly the figure in air became clearer, other adventures also arrived at top of the walls,

All peoples in the city arrived at big buildings and towers to observe what is going on outside the huge wall

Kids, adults, elders, men, women all had their eyes on the scene in front of them

In just few seconds the figure in sky became more clear and as he was only 200 meters away from Klaus

That figure in sky opened his mouth compressing the mana inside his head for a breath

"A dragon...?"

"Isn't it a dragon?"

"How can a dragon be here!!!"

"Were the rumours true?"

The whole city turned into chaos, everyone was panicked by sudden appearance of dragon and then

From top of Adventures guild building Rudy stood there with a grin as he muttered "You think you can survive after getting in my way??"

Next moment that dragon covered grey scales released his dragon breath from the air aiming at Klaus and the city behind

But just then Brock observed the grin on Klaus face as the breath was coming towards him

"Fuck!!!"

"it's trying to destroy the whole city!!!"

"Why is Dragon so hostile?"

Everyone covered their faces many activated magic trying to defend some covered themselves behind the walls

"Looks like dragon woke up earlier than expected!"

"He looks quite angry"

"But how did he found us this fast!"

The fairies said with panicked faces looking at the dragon, this dragon was Tier 9 being but because of race advantage and other titles and factors his actual combat power was no less than early Tier 10

Tier 9 Swordsmanship technique ... Slash of heavens!

Just then Klaus took his sword and slashed the breath coming towards him, the dragon's breath was cut in half

the breath burned the forest and area near City but not scratch was put on Klaus and the city

The breath covered both sides of City barely avoiding the city, Klaus smiled and muttered

"Dragon Slayer title didn't sound so bad!"

As Klaus muttered that the huge dragon landed few metres away from him with powerful aura surrounding his body and he said

Klaus just stood there facing the wind pressure released by dragon as if he wasn't affected by it

"I do so what!"

Hearing Klaus's reply the rage of the dragon multiplied as he roared in air shouting
