Worst nightmare

I got to school school the next day and saw Derick already seated ,this was new I thought to myself.

In order to avoid him I took a seat far from him and focus on the lecture.after the lecture I checked  my next class and noticed I don't have another class for the next two hours .I was still thinking on what to do ,not until he walked to my seat .

"We've been slow on the project".he sounded annoyed

"Definitely not my fault".I replied back .

He gave me an annoyed look before seating opposite me .

"We both don't have any classes for the next two hours .maybe we can make use of it".

"So where do we go next".I asked 

"Follow me ".he commanded 

I gave him an angry look before walking after him to his car .he drove out of the school and went into the road.

"Where are we going ".I asked 

"Stop talking and watch ".

I kept quiet and look outside the window the entire drive.

We stop in a big building and it was written as "the Malcom orphanage"

"Is this yours ".I asked 

"My dad's but technically mine".he responded and walk out of the car .

I followed him and went inside the orphanage .we were greeted by the staffs who seems to know Derrick very well .

Derick handed me a camera and ask me to get to work 

"This is a project for two people".I shouted

He walk closed to me and gave me a devilish smile 

"Remember you are indebted to me "

I gave him a hard look before walking away .

I saw children of different age ,took pictures and even spoke to them.

I noticed a particular kid who was moody .I walk up to her and sat besides her .

"Do you wanna talk about it ".I asked .

She gave me a weak smile before noding her head .

"I fell like I'm the only one different here .

"Why ".I asked 

"All kids my age already have a home,but I have nothing"

Maybe God is keeping the right family for you ".I assured her.

"When will they come".she asked innocently

"You might just have to wait a little while".I told her .

She nod her head and gave me a genuine smile .I sat there with her and we talk for a while,before Derick told me it was time to go .I told her goodbye and left the orphanage.

"You  got everything".Derick asked 

"I hate you ".was the only thing I could say.

He chuckled and started driving.

We got back to the university and I hurriddly went to my next class .

After class I was on my way home when I saw a strange number calling me .I picked it up and heard a familiar voice .

"I'm outside your gate ".he spoke up.

"Who is this ".I asked .

He chuckled before answering me .

"Your worst nightmare "😮😮😮😮
