Jealous

Olivia's POV

I walked with Lizzy out of the lecture hall and followed her around like a lost pet. We scan around the canteen, and it was obvious she was foraging for something or someone,

“What are we looking for “. I asked while standing before her.

“Allow me to do my job oli, “.she said those words and I noticed a smile on her face.  I turned around and looked back, so I could see what was making her happy, I looked in the direction of her eyes and noticed she was smiling at Rita 

“Why are you smiling.  I asked confused.

“Just you wait and see, “.she said those words and started walking towards Rita.

When we got to Rita's table, Lizzy flashed her a smile and sat opposite her, while I sat beside Lizzy.  Rita stares at us for a moment before speaking up 

“What do you what “.she asked while staring at me 

“C'mon Rita, don't be harsh on us “. Lizzy replied her. Rita looked at me with hatred .it was obvious she hates me.

“Say what you want to say and leave”. Rita told us and went back to pressing her phone, 

“Can we make a call with your phone for just a second, our both phones were bad”. I stared at Lizzy and marveled how she could put up such a clean lie. Rita stared at Lizzy for a while before handing her the phone.

A friend of Rita called her at the other table, and she let us to her 

“Quickly call him “. Lizzy spoke up while handing the phone over to me.  I took the phone from her and searched for Rona's number.  When I saw it, I dialed the number.  The line rang a few times before it was picked up, 

“Hey, little sis”.he thought I was Rita. I took a deep breath before speaking up, 

“Rona”. I whispered .he was quiet for a while before speaking up 

“Little Bird”.he spoke in a confused voice,

I felt my heartbeat increase and my palm became sweaty. Why was this name having such an effect on me,

“It's me, Olivia “. I replied to him 

“Of course I know it you, why are you calling with Rita's phone “.he asked in a confused voice 

“I've been calling you, but you refused to pick up “. I told him in a calm voice.

He released a soft hiss before speaking up 

“What's the matter little bird “.he asked with a concerned voice 

“Are you okay “. I asked 

“What do you mean by that “.he asked I realized he was okay, but I don't if Derick was.

“You did not hurt Derick right”. I asked, 

The line was silent for a while and I have to check the phone to know if he was still on the line 

“Hello “.

“So you called just to know if Derick was hurt, “.he asked in anger,

“I don't mean it that way “. I quickly replied

“Then why did you call “.he shouted,

I was speechless and didn't know what to say .he hissed over the phone before speaking up

“You care about him a lot don't you ?”.the word wasn't a question but a statement.

“Answer me “.he shouted, I noticed he was now furious and anything I say will anger him,

I'm sorry”. I whisper,

“Sorry about what, “.he asked in anger.

I was about to speak up when Lizzy tap me. I looked at her and noticed Rita was coming our way.  I ended the call and deleted the call before giving it to Lizzy.

“Are you done “. Rita asked while taking her seat, 

“Yeah, thanks “. Lizzy told her while giving her the phone.

Lizzy and I was about to leave when Rita called me back 

“I want to speak to you “.she told me 

“I will be at the library”. Lizzy told me and left,

I took the seat opposite Rita and sat down 

“What is it”. I asked in an irritated voice.  Because I knew what she wanted to say to me.

Rita gave me a hard look before speaking up, 

“What must I do so you could stay away from my brother “. Rita asked in anger, 

I chuckled at her words and noticed she was now furious,

“You should ask your brother that”. I told Rita, 

“You are lying, I know you are using black magic on him “. Rita shouted.  I looked around and noticed few eyes were on us, 

“Oh really, then you should be scared of me, who knows what I might do to you if you annoy me “. I told her with a devilish smile on my face.

She stared at me with a sore speaking up 

“I will kill you Olivia, and it's a promise”.she threatened

I chuckled loudly before speaking up 

“You can't harm me, not when I'm your brother's girlfriend”. I spoke with a devilish smile on my face.

I watch as Rita expression changed and Saw how angry she was, 

“you will be dumped just like he dumped the others “.she spoke up in anger.

“Let me worry about that “. I told her while standing up. I noticed my phone was ringing, and it was Rona calling.  I picked up the phone and showed it to Rita 

“You see, he is head over hills for me,” I told and walked away I looked back and saw an angry-looking Rita. I chuckled and walked away. I met Lizzy at the library with someone .she noticed me and waved at me.  I walk up.to her and sat on the available seat,

“Are you alright”. Lizzy asked,

“Yea, am fine”. I told her, 

“This is Duke, Duke, this is Olivia”. Lizzy introduced us.

Duke smiled at me before speaking up,

“Nice to meet you, Olivia”.

“Nice to meet you too “. I told him with a smile.

My phone kept on ringing and I knew who the caller was, but I refused to pick up,

“Don't you want to answer that “. Lizzy asked, 

“Not now”. I told her and ended the call.

We sat at the library for a while when I noticed Derick standing by the door staring at me.

I ignored him and went back to my book. A few minutes later Derick walked up to me and stood before me 

“Can I talk to you “.he spoke in a calm voice 

“No”. I quickly replied to him, “Just for a minute”.he pleaded

“No”. I stubbornly replied.

He stares at me for a moment, and before I knew it, I was lifted from the chair by Derick .he carried me bridal style and walked out of the library hall.l looked around and saw the shock look on everyone's faces.

“Keep me down “. I shouted while hitting his chest, 

“Stay calm “.he whispered in my ears. I froze instantly and kept calm till we left the library hall.
