“Why are you driving me away ". I said those words still in his embrace.

He hissed softly and pull me away from him before he stood up from the bed.

He walked to his bar and brought out a bottle of whiskey and a glass cup.

Quickly I stood up from the bed and rushed to him and took the whiskey from the table .he stared at me but did not say a word.

"You can have that one ".he said those words and brought out a wine from the bar, I hissed softly and went for the wine, but this time he was holding it tightly.

"You shouldn't be drinking". I tried taking the wine from him, but he moves away from me and sat on the bed.

"Rona". I called out in annoyance.

He ignored me and pour out some wine in the glass.

"If you drink that I will let Mike know about it". I threaten.

"Do your worst ".he spoke with a big grin on his face.

I stared at him and noticed he was serious about it.

"Fine"

I walk towards the door and was about opening it when Rona rushed to me and blocked the door.

"Move away ". I spoke in annoyance.

He chuckled softly and stared at me 

"Make me".he dared with a big grin on his face.

"It's either you drop that drink, or you move away so I could tell Mike about this ". I spoke in a serious tune.

"I will only move away from this door if only you can make me ".he said the word as a mockery.

He knew even a wounded Rona would win me in any fight.

I hissed softly and was about backing out when a ridiculous thought came to my mind.

"Have you given up already?". Rona mocked 

I roll my eyes playfully at him before moving closer to him so that we could feel each other breath.

"Would you quickly leave the door, or I should make you ". I spoke confidently while staring at him.

"Make me".he spoke coldly.

I took in a deep breath before moving closer to him and seal my lips on his unknowingly to him.

He groaned in the kiss and gently pull me to himself before roughly taking hold of my hair.

He moans in the kiss and turn me around so that my back was at the door.

He softly too hold of my neck and deepens the kiss.

I felt myself melt in his touch and allowed him do the kissing.

He kissed me for a while before he pulls away and stared directly into my eyes with no expression on his face.

I bite my lips and nervously look away.

"You've won, you just took me away from the door ". He spoke calmly and left me at the door.

I took in a deep breath before leaving the door, I moved from the door and sat on the couch opposite Rona. I stared at him but could not read the expression on his face. I hissed softly and wanted to say something when Rona spoke up.

"You should stay away from me ".he spoke in a calm voice, but I can see the seriousness in his voice.

I lick my lips in fear but did not say a word.

"I can't let you risk your life for my selfish needs and desires ".he spoke in a serious voice were staring at me.

"You are a pure innocent dove, and I can't let you destroy your life".he said those words as a command.

I nervously stared at him and realized how serious he was.

"I have so many things going on in my life and I can't risk you for that, I just can't ".

He hissed and roughly ran his fingers in his hair.

"You have to stay away from me for your good and safety". He said those words as a command.

I felt my heart clench in pain, I stared at Rona but noticed he was looking my way rather he was lost in his thoughts.

"Rona". I called out.

He hissed softly before returning his gaze on me.

"Ask anything from me, but please don't tell me to stay away from you ". I begged 

He stared coldly at me before speaking up

"You don't know what you are saying oli, you can't stay close to me, I won't let this ". He murmured.

"If you know you wouldn't let me stay with you, why then did you force yourself into my life ". I spoke angrily 

I was angry at myself and also at him.

I was angry at him for letting me go this far with him, letting me get used to his teasing, play and care and dumping me just like that.

I was also angry at myself for letting myself get too comfortable with him that I didn't want to leave his side, a man I hated and wanted to stay far away from, few weeks ago. 

We sat there in silence, he stares at me with curiosity, but I lick my lips and look away.

We sat there for a while before Rona spoke up

"You should go home",

I was about saying something with my phone started ringing, I went for my phone on the table and saw that the caller was Derick, the moment I saw his name written on my phone I whispered in fear.

I stared at the phone before staring

 back at Rona who was staring at me.

"Pick up the call ". Rona spoke softly.

I stared at the call and swallowed nervously.

I can't pick Derrick's call in font of Rona.

"It's Derrick right?, just pick up his call".he spoke gently.

I stared at Rona and could see no anger on his face, but he only put on a cold Expression .this was strange, the Rona I knew would tell me keep that phone or switched it off. But here Rona was the one asking for me to pick up the call, and it was indeed strange to me.

I stared at Rona and saw the go ahead look on his face before picking up the call.

"Hello ". I whisper

"Are you still asleep".he asked 

"No am awake ". I spoke in a shattering voice.

"Are you okay, should I come over ".he asked 

"No no ". I spoke in a hurry 

"Am fine, you don't have to check up on me ". I said those words while staring at Rona who has a cold Expression on his face. 

"Okay, if you say so, but I will come see you later by the day".

"No problem". I spoke in relief.

"Alright goodbye and I love you ".he said those words like he meant it, but I couldn't say a thing to him.

I hissed softly 

"Goodbye" I ended the call. 

I kept back the phone and met Rona's gaze, but This time there was no anger on his face, like he will normally do if he noticed Derick was talking to me.

I became scared and restless when I realized he was no longer interested in whatever I do with Derick.

"You should go home ".he spoke coldly 

"I don't wanna go ". I murmured 

He hissed softly and pick up his phone.

"She is ready to go home ".he spoke coldly over the phone before putting down the phone.

"Go change, Mike is waiting for you at the garage".he said those words while avoiding my gaze.

"But Rona". I tried speaking, but he caught me off with a rough cold voice.

"I'm not asking you I am ordering you to go in and change your clothes and go home ".he spoke in a commanding tune.

I stared at him before picking up my cloths and walk to the bathroom.

I pull off his cloths and put on my clothes in anger before leaving the bathroom.

I walk into the room and noticed Rona was in call 

"Don't worry about it ".he spoke calmly.

He noticed my presence and stared at me before looking away.

"I'll call you back ".he said those words and ended the call.

"Are you ready ".he asked 

I ignored his question and look away.

"Mike is outside waiting for you ".he said those words while avoiding my gaze.

"Rona". I called out, but he cut me off 

"I think it's best you stop coming here ".he said those words seriously while staring at me.

"It's better we stay away from each other for the time been".he spoke firmly.

"Act like you've never met someone like me in your life and I will do the same ".

Hearing those words from him, I felt my heart clench in pain and felt hot tears threatening to fall down my cheek.

Quickly I ran away from the room and ran downstairs crying profusely.

I ran downstairs and bumped into a firm hard chest.

I raise my head and met eyes with a man who has  beautiful sets of sea blue eyes.

He stared at me in shock and pity before moving closer to me.

"Are you okay ".he spoke with so much care in his voice.

"I'm not ". I replied firmly before running away.

I ran out of the sitting room before running to the gate 

"Open ". I shouted in tears and in anger, but the guy holding the remote of the gate totally ignored me.

“Olivia”. I turn around and met eyes with Mike.

"Let me take you home ".he begged.
