After leaving the Mine Sub-Ecopark, Yuga took the opportunity to visit the Chansey.

The Chansey are now living together with the Miltank. During this time, the Miltank have been sharing their knowledge of the familiar ecosystem of the Ecopark and the Pokémon that live here with the Chansey, while the Chansey are teaching the Miltank more knowledge.

However, since Purrloin and their father, Liepard, had taken on patrol duties, Purrloin had become more responsible and mature, which pleased Yuga.

It indicated that Purrloin truly considered itself part of the Day Care and was taking practical steps to protect it.

As Purrloin was about to say something to Chansey, it saw Yuga approaching and quickly whisked Zorua away, afraid of Yuga witnessing its embarrassment.

"Chansey! Chansey!"

Seeing Yuga approaching, Chansey happily waved to him.

Mei Mei was the leader among the six Chansey and the most powerful among them. Besides being slightly weaker than Yuga's Audino, her abilities as a Pokémon assistant were superior to Audino.

The Chansey selected for Yuga by the Joy family were not chosen randomly. Among the Pokémon assistants that graduated in their batch, Mei Mei was one of the top performers.

The other Chansey were out working with the Miltank, so only Mei Mei remained in the Flower Sea Sub-Ecopark.

Until they graduated from the Joy family's Pokémon Nurse School, they had always lived in a group. Their training companions included not only other Chansey but also Pokémon like Kirlia, Wigglytuff, and Clefable.

Originally, they were supposed to be assigned to Nurse Joy as her assistants. However, since they hadn't met their future partner in person yet, they were naturally anxious. The thought of being separated from their companions whom they would spend every day with made them even more uneasy.

But the actual situation turned out to be much better than they had anticipated.

Given to Yuga, they were placed together with six companions, which greatly alleviated their initial anxieties.

This group of Clamperl had been at the Ecopark for quite some time and had produced many pearls intermittently.

At first, they were somewhat unstable in their pearl production, possibly due to adjusting to the new environment and mood swings.

As time passed, Yuga had taken good care of them, and their deep blue shells shone brilliantly. The pale blue flesh inside the shells was clear and translucent, while their pink bodies were plump and gleaming.

Recently, the Clamperl's pearl production had become stable.

Yuga had already reached an agreement with a pharmaceutical company. The pearls produced by his Clamperl would be sold to them as materials for making medicines.

The pearls produced by Clamperl were precious pharmaceutical materials. Depending on the prescription, the medicines made from these pearls were suitable for Water-type Pokémon and Psychic-type Pokémon, greatly assisting in their growth.

When Yuga arrived at the Clamperl's habitat, they were all on the coral reef, with their shells wide open, basking in the sun with their eyes closed. Several Huntail and Gorebyss were swimming in the water nearby.

These Huntail and Gorebyss were the ones Yuga had when he took over the Clamperl habitat initially. He hadn't acquired any new Huntail or Gorebyss since then.

To be precise, Yuga didn't plan to let his Clamperl evolve into Huntail or Gorebyss because once Clamperl evolved, they would lose their ability to produce pearls, which was highly unprofitable.

Clamperl could still reproduce without evolving into Huntail or Gorebyss, while evolving would result in losing the pearl production ability, which Yuga wouldn't consider doing.

He also didn't intend to sell his Clamperl.

In addition to Cloyster, Slowbro and Slowking, which live in the center of the island lake, sometimes come to the coral reef here along the river and blend in with the groups of Clamperl, standing on the coral reef, facing the sea, and sunbathing with their eyes closed.

Yuga suspected the reason for their behavior was that being with Clamperl, the pearls inside Clamperl's bodies could aid them in meditation.

However, the true reason was never revealed to him, and he didn't inquire.

Every time he saw Slowking, Yuga felt like he was looking at a magic stick and thought it was eccentric. On the other hand, when he saw Slowbro, he considered it rather dim-witted and impossible to communicate with.

Perhaps both of them considered a mortal humans like Yuga unworthy of communication.
