Suzuki smiled, took a seat, and reassured him, "No worries, this place is fine."
Seeing that she was genuinely comfortable, Yuga went straight to the point. "There isn't much to handle in my shop. We mainly receive customers, sell Pokémon eggs, and offer related services.
You're probably aware that running a Day Care is a unique business. While Pokémon and eggs aren't exactly luxury items, it's not as bustling as a supermarket. So, we don't usually have many customers, and it's not too busy.
The only requirement is that you need to have a decent understanding of common Pokémon species. Otherwise, you won't be able to introduce our Pokémon eggs to the customers. Is that something you're okay with?"
After listening, Suzuki nodded and replied, "No problem. I graduated from a Trainer school and received formal Trainer education. Although I didn't pursue a Trainer career later on, I have a solid foundation in Pokémon knowledge. That's actually one of the reasons why I wanted to work here, to make up for what I missed before."
Yuga didn't expect Ms. Suzuki to have such experiences, but her familiarity with Pokémon knowledge was certainly a welcome trait.
Yuga continued, "Alright, let's talk about the working hours.
Back when it was just me, I had flexible opening and closing times. My schedule was often unpredictable. However, now that you're joining us, we need to establish some rules."
Suzuki nodded, showing her understanding. "That's reasonable."
Yuga proceeded, "Great, then let's have the shop open from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM, and from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. How does that sound?"
Suzuki didn't have any objections and nodded in agreement.
Seeing her agreement, Yuga hesitated for a moment and then asked, "I heard you mention earlier that you live here with a child, is that right?"
While Suzuki found it strange that Yuga brought up this topic, she still nodded in confirmation.
After seeing her nod, Yuga struggled internally for a moment before speaking, "The shop isn't usually too busy. If it's not convenient for you to bring your child here, you're welcome to do so. I don't mind at all."
Although Suzuki was initially puzzled by why Yuga asked about this, she realized that it was for this reason. She thought to herself, "There's no inconvenience. I've hired a nanny at home to take care of my child."
But after considering it, she decided not to mention it. Since the boss had agreed, there was no need to elaborate further.
However, she did appreciate that her potential employer was considerate. Not many bosses would allow employees to bring their children to work.
With a smile, Suzuki responded, "Thank you for that, Mr. Yuga."
Yuga continued, "Alright, let's discuss the compensation now.
I'll pay you 3,000 Union currency each month. Since we're in the sales industry and you'll be the only employee, I won't set specific days for your days off.
However, if you have something important, you can take leave at any time, and it won't affect your salary.
To save you from traveling back and forth, you're welcome to stay for lunch. If I'm not around, you can cook for yourself; the kitchen is fully stocked.
When I'm here, I usually cook for myself and would be happy to cook for you as well. Of course, if you're willing to help with cooking, I don't mind."
Suzuki agreed, "Sure, I have no objections."
In truth, considering the consumption level in Verdanturf Town, a monthly salary of 3,000 Union currency for a shop assistant was already quite high. Suzuki was content with the offer.

Yuga stood up, extended his hand, and said, "Welcome to the YoYo Day Care. Please guide us along the way."
Suzuki shook his hand in return and said, "Likewise."
Yuga remembered and asked, "By the way, when can you start working?"
Suzuki answered, "I can start tomorrow."
Yuga nodded and said, "Alright then, you can start working tomorrow."
Afterward, Yuga took out the prepared employment contract, and both of them happily signed it.
Once the contract was signed, Yuga handed a set of keys to Suzuki and said, "These are the keys to the shop. Here you go."
Suzuki took the keys and said, "If there's nothing else, I'll head back for now. I'll be here on time to work tomorrow."
As Suzuki left, Yuga noticed Chimecho coming in a hurry. Her demeanor seemed quite flustered.
Seeing this familiar scene, Yuga immediately understood what had happened. He hurriedly set off towards the Ecopark.
When Yuga arrived not far from the colossal weather tree, he saw a few little heads poking out from a nest under the tree.
Just as one of them was about to tumble out of the nest, Yuga rushed forward and caught it.
Holding the Pokémon in his arms, Yuga and it locked eyes for a moment. After a while, the Pokémon grew impatient and let out a chirp towards Yuga.
At this point, the two newborn Eevee that had hatched earlier were standing together at the base of the nest, looking inside. They were incredibly adorable.
Counting them, including the one in his hands, a total of four Pokémon had hatched this time.
There were three different species: two Mudkip, one Trecko, and one Snivy, a species unique to Unova region. Yuga wondered how an egg of this species ended up in a breeding facility in Lavaridge Town.
The one that had climbed out was a mischievous-looking Snivy.
Hatching all three starter Pokémon in one go made Yuga mood considerably better.
One had to understand that breeding these valuable starter Pokémon was usually monopolized by the League. It was rare for them to be available outside.
Most privately owned Day Cares didn't have these starter Pokémon.
Some larger private Day Cares might specialize in breeding their own unique Pokémon, but mass-producing starter Pokémon was no simple task. Obtaining suitable breeding stock was quite a challenge.
It could be said that the League breeding and research of starter Pokémon from various regions was at its pinnacle; they were iconic to the League.
Every year, beginner trainers in various regions would receive a starter Pokémon distributed by the local professors.
These Pokémon were usually offspring trained by the League established trainers. League starter Pokémon rarely left their controlled environment.
Of course, the League did annually distribute a large number of other high-quality non-starter Pokémon through official Day Cares.
Many of these species were on par with the starters, so most trainers and citizens didn't have any objections to the League policy of not releasing starter Pokémon to the public.
