Chapter 60: First Comes Love
Charles' POV: Once Jade was asleep I quietly walked into Audrey's room and woke her up for the plan, then I did the same with Elizabeth. We put the plan into motion, Elizabeth helped me write everything and Audrey compelled all the places to cooperate. Once everything was set and ready I fell asleep in The Meadow until morning. Now I must await for my beautiful girl to find me!
Jade's POV: I woke up and to my 'surprise' Charles wasn't next to me. Before I walked downstairs I went into Elizabeth's bedroom. I asked her, "Elizabeth, is Charles doing what I think he's doing?" She smiled and replied, "Well I'm not supposed to say, but since you can see the future you already know what's coming, so yes. It is what you think. Now I would just hurry it up, go along with it and once everything's over you can tell Charles about your newly inquired gift!" I laughed and walked downstairs. I opened the fridge and grabbed a blood bag and a note from Charles telling me to go to my house. Before I left I changed into a pink and white 'casual' dress and started driving to my house. Once I got there I pulled the tassel on my porch revealing the next card that told me to go to the bar and grill downtown. As soon as I arrived I immediately grabbed the shiny box, pulled the flower out, and read the next card. I made my way to the movie store and played Charles's ridiculously adorable video tape and picked out a movie. Shortly after I drove to the mall and found Audrey awaiting me, we walked into Victoria's Secret and I picked out a few things before heading to The Meadow. I put on one of the lingerie sets I bought and wore it underneath my dress. Then I stepped out of my truck in my heels and walked around the hill to the gorgeous spot where a picnic was set up. I sat down on the blanket and when I looked up I saw Charles, in a suit, walking closer to me. Once he was sitting along with me I asked, "You did all of this for me?" He smiled and answered, "Of course I did. I'd do anything for you Jade!" I smiled back. I vividly remember the speech Charles prepared in my vision, but this one was something special. Charles grabbed both of my hands and stared into my eyes as he said, "I love you with every piece of my heart, every bone in my body, and every bit of humanity I have. When you and I first met I felt like we were destined to be with each other, like fate wanted us to find one another. You flipped my world upside down in the best way possible. Hearing your voice, and seeing your face every morning brings me more joy than anything in the world. You are my happy place, my sunshine, my light in the darkness, my humanity, and you're the love of my life! Nothing could ever change the way I feel about you, and I really hope you feel the same way. After the past few weeks have gone by I've known for sure, I want to be with you and love you for all eternity. I want to be there when you're at your best and your worst. When you're crying, I want to be the shoulder you cry on. When I sleep, I want you to be the first thing I see when I wake up. My life will never be the same if you're not in it. Making you my girlfriend and the love of my life isn't quite enough..." Charles pulled out a ring and continued, "So, Jade Kara Eddington-Bradford, will you do me the honor of becoming my wife?" A tear of joy streamed down my cheek as I immediately replied, "I mean, this is quite the decision. I might have to sleep on it..." Charles and I laughed at my sarcasm as I smiled and shook my head as I said, "Of course I'll marry you, Charles Suliman!" Charles slid the ring onto my finger and pulled me in for a kiss. After a few moments I said to him, "First order of business...take off your suit!" I demanded as I slid off my dress. Charles smirked and replied, "Actually, I think I might need a little help with that." I ran over to him until we were only inches apart and I said, "You might need a new suit then!" With no further words I tore off every last bit of clothing on Charles's body revealing his muscular body. He pulled me as close as possible and kissed me again. After nearly two hours we realized how long it's been. It was nearly dark outside and Charles was laying on top of me while kissing my neck. We just layed there the entire afternoon, kissing and occasionally staring into each other's eyes. Once it was finally dark outside I said, "We should probably get home." Charles smiled and said, "Or we could just stay here for the night. Enjoy the stars, the view, and the beauty laying next to me!" I smiled and kissed Charles once before grabbing a blanket from inside my truck for the two of us. After about ten minutes we both fell asleep...
THE NEXT MORNING
Jade's POV: Charles and I woke up about the same time and started packing up the picnic and blankets. We finished up shortly and headed home. Once we got back to the house everyone was sitting in the living room staring at us when we walked in. I looked at Charles and said, "They all already know huh?" He smiled and nodded. Daniel walked over and hugged both of us and said how happy he was for the two of us. I could see it in his eyes how much it hurt him, but I've moved on and so has he. Daniel's happier now than he would've been with me. Daniel took Charles aside to congratulate him in private, and once they both left the room and smiled widely at the girls and shouted, "I'M GETTING MARRIED!"
