7.Hunter Exam

Jade and rest then walked until they come across a tunnel where they see a lot of experts and they go to a corner and wait whilst Kurapika and Leorio start arguing again. "Welcome I'm you examiner satotz, now all you candidates follow me through the tunnel" and satotz starts running and they all follow "hey isn't he getting faster and faster?" Kurapika says whilst panting Jade ignores him whilst only Gon replies.

Leorio then strikes up a conversation in which kurapika reveals his scarlet eyes and tells the group about the tragedy Jade is especially shocked as the method done in this is horrifying.while they were running a kid with a skateboard passes them and Leorio shouts at him saying his cheating but Gon tells that satotz just told them to follow him, a second later the boy asks for Gon's age "I'm 12 you?" "I'm also 12 my names killua by the way" "my friend Jade is also 12!" Gon says excitedly which Jade and killua then shook hands and seemed to have formed a little group of three because of their age being the same, "Everyone stop we have arrived at Milsy Wetlands" it was swamp land, "no follow me" satotz said once again.

While Jade and the other three are following satotz in another marathon they hear screams coming from the back, Jade turns around and sees a man that had pink hair and looked like a magician he had a star on his right side of the face and a teardrop on his left, "huh why's he attacking other candidates is that even allowed?" Gon says with a dumbfounded look "with the way the examiner isn't reacting to this it seems permissible" Jade said with a slight frown.

They continued to watch the magician killing the other candidates until he arrived near them, and without saying anything he kicked towards Gon's face but Jade intercepted it with a kick of his own and as they clashed the magician was surprised. "Ohoho to think you'd confront my kick your a brave one kiddo" he said while licking his lips, Jade was creeped out by this and initiates a drop kick aiming at the magician's head but it's blocked easily.

*whoosh* *bang* *bang*

Jade and the magician exchanged a flurry of kicks and punches but Jade ended up on the losing end, "kiddo your pretty strong, for you to entertain me I'll spare you and your friends till we meet again" the magician had a creepy look as he walked away licking his lips. Jade's legs and hands felt numb "Jade are you ok?" Gon asked "yeah I'm fine but that man's physique is strong!" Jade said with a solemn look.

"But you were able to fight him which is surprising" kurapika said with Leorio nodding his head as both him and kurapika were both shocked inside, "Noo, he barely used his physical strength otherwise he could've easily overpowered me" said jade shaking his head while chuckling, "if I had used Nen this would've not happened but that man definitely knows how to use Nen and if he uses it then he possibly could've overpowered me too" Jade said in his thoughts.

After that little confrontation they all proceeded towards towards Visca Forest Preserve, as they arrived two hunters arrived aswell, "hello candidates my names Menchi and this fat man next to me is called Buhara" "oi Mench-san stop calling me fat" the fat man reprimanded but to of no avail. *clap* "anyways all of you here I would like for you to cook roasted pork and for that you'll need to catch a pig".

"He really is a fatso" jade said, next they went to find the pig called great stamp and with little difficulty was able to catch and cook it and passed. "Now for my dish I would like you all to make sushi" Manchu said with her hands on her hips "Menchi-san your cruel you know the the fish is only found in freshwater" Buhara said with a scolding look, " I don't care, I want to try a different type of sushi anyway hmph" Menchi said with puffed cheeks.

Buhara knew with her temper will affect her judment of the sushi dishes, he then sighed. Whilst that was happening Kurapika and the other three were having a dilemma,Menchi dropped hints but Jade and the rest was still confused as Jade knew you only find fish in freshwater so they were in a pickle. Then a candidate that had a bold head by the name of Hanzo confidently presentes a sushi as it turned out he came from a country where sushi was native.

"Oho this looks nicely presented well done" Menchi praised as she proceeded to eat, "you fail", "huh? no way! That can't be!" Hanzo's jaw was opened wide but that irritated Menchi and she grabbed his collar and started shouting at him. She also failed Jade and the other three, as Buhara is panicking they hair a aircraft overhead as they all lookup to see an airship.

And an old man with grey hair and beard jumps out and lands next to the examiners, "ohoho Menchi your temper is still the same I see" he said whilst stroking his beard "I'm sorry chairman Netero I know as an examiner I shouldn't lose my cool" Menchi said with her head down. "Since you can't fail them give them another test in which you'll also participate in" Netero said.

"Ok can I choose the test?", "sure", she turned around and said "I want you all to cook boiled spider egg", Kurapika was knowledgeable and he knew what to do, afterwards they all arrived at a ravine Jade along with Gin started attacking the strings and after collecting a few eggs proceeded to cook them as they all passed.

Along with them 41 other examinees passed. Then chairman Netero took them on the airship to the Third Phase. "The next Phase is gonna start at 8:00am tomorrow" Jade said as he looked at the ceiling, a knock came from his door as he heard Gon shout his name. He opened the door and saw Gon and Killua standing there "yo Jade let's walk around this airship" Gon said "ok sure" jail replied, they then spent 10 minutes walking around until they came across chairman Netero.

"Hello you kids, you should be rest no?" Netero said with a chuckle to which Gon replied "we're just checking the airship out chairman", Netero then said "look I got a game in which if your able to beat me in I'll automatically give you three your hunters license interested?" "of course!" Gon said with a smile so did Jade and Killua.

"Ok then follow me" Netero then took them to a room and said "all you have to do is take the ball away from me", "it's that easy?" Jade replied and Netero just chuckled. Killua eargely wanted to go first so both Jade and Gon stepped back, as Jade stepped back Killua started walking around and after images appeared which dumbfounded Jade as he could see that Nen wasn't used to create this.

"Oho intresting" Netero smiled as Killua attacked but to no avail after 2 minutes he failed to even force Netero to move, Killua moved back dejected as Netero laughed, then without waiting for a signal Jade appeared beside Netero and kicked towards the ball but Netero easily avoided it "hahaha kid nice kick you attacked whilst I was unguarded".

*whoosh* *bang* * sweep*

Jade attacked Netero from every angle but failed to touch the ball, Gon then went next and also failed to touch the ball aswell. "I got an idea why don't all three of you attack at the same time?" Netero suggested but Jade felt like the was an insult to him so he decided to secretly use Nen. "Ok then we'll all attack at the same time" Jade said whilst making eye contact with Killua and Gon and they all leapt and flushed out a flurry of attacks at Netero.

*bang* *bang* *whoosh*

After 5 minutes Jade and Killua's last attacks forced Netero to move in which that split second the ball left Netero's leg Jade brandished a kick attack, at the last second when Netero also kicked towards his leg Jade infused his time infused aura which sped up his leg and tried to kick the ball towards the window but Netero sneakily used Nen to shield the ball and place it back on his leg, Netero was shocked as he knew he never lost in a confrontation of speed so he was baffled as to how he lost to a little kid in that split second, "did he use Nen?, no it's not possible unless he used a Nen ability".
