11.Yorknew City
"So this Yorknew city" Jade said.
It was night when he arrived so he quickly found himself a hotel down the street, as he walked in he got weird stares from the receptionists as they wasn't expecting a young kid. "I'd like a room for one" Jade requested, "sure we have one, but kid where are your parents?" asked a young lady, she had brunette hair brown eyes to match with them.
Jade was in predicament as he didn't know what to say, "leave the kid alone said the other receptionist.
"Kid I don't really want to know what you're doing but if you don't have money please leave" the middle aged lady said coldly.
"I do have money" Jade replied as he took out some cash, "it'll be 5,000 Jenny", the receptionist said, Jade handed her the money and walked into his room.
"Atleast it's well kept" he thought,he brushed his teeth, did some stretches and went to bed as he'd do some exploring before Killua and Gon arrived.
The next morning Jade woke up did the usual and today he changed his attire, he wore black pants, a white t-shirt and had a jacket over his shoulder with the arms moving loosely in the air.
He walked around the city seeing all types of wonders, be it he did see a few fights in the alley way but that wasn't none of his business.
"Gon did mention something called Greed Island, I should go an get more information about it".
Jade walked in an internet cafe and sat down searching up Greed Island. "Huh?, when I search it up nothing pops up, that's weird?", Jade continued to look for more information, but luck was not on his side as he found nothing.
"Well that was a waste of time wasn't it" Jade scoffed.
He walked back to his apartment as it was already 6:00, "what the hell is Gon looking for" Jade said as his mind wasn't focused.
As Jade pondered he bumped into a burly man, "ah sorry" Jade said as he looked back at the man.
The man had three scars going across the left side of his forehead, his earlobes went below his shoulders as they both had gold earrings embedded in them.
"Oi kid you better watch where you going", the man said, Jade's face twitched as he was annoyed be this, "sorry I wasn't looking ahead" he replied.
"Hmph, I would've killed you, lucky brat" the mumbled under his breath, as another man next to him whispered "don't cause trouble Franklin, we have an important mission".
The man had a scarf with a skull and bones cover his mouth and nose, Jade stopped in his tracks as he heard what the burly man mumbled.
"Say that again you ugly creature" Jade said as he glared at the burly man, the burly man's anger shot through the roof " you fucking brat, I'll massacre you and you whole fucking family!".
The burly man the proceeded to walk towards Jade as thuds could be heard every time he took a step.
*THUD* *THUD* *THUD*
"who the fuck do you think you are to talk about my family!" Jade shouted as he prepared to rush at the burly man.
"FRANKLIN!" The other man shouted, "so you're ugly ass is named Franklin, what a worthy name for you" Jade chuckled coldly.
"FRANKLIN!", the man rushed up to him holding his arms as a crowd started gathering around due the commotion.
"Aiyaa, that ugly man is seriously bullying a kid?", whispered a bystander.
"Franklin, the boss will be unhappy with you if you mess up" the other man said as Franklin stopped in tracks.
Franklin kissed his teeth as he took one last look at Jade, probably to remember what he looked like and walked away.
"I swear if I find out who you and your family are you best be ready for what I'm about to do Franklin", Jade said as he smiled coldly. "No one threatens my family and gets away with it, I promise you that".
Jade then continued walking back home.
8 days passed with Jade exploring the city as a whole as he thought of ways find information of about Franklin, "how long is Gon and Killua taking to get here I been here for a whole week!".
Jade arrived back it his room, he sat down, he then took a deep breath as he meditated.
"During these five months I had quite the success in creating the Nen ability, but the fastest I can speed up time currently is only 100 mph", "that's not even half of the speed of sound" Jade said in a mocking tone.
"Well at least that's enough to deal considerable damage or even take the life of someone especially in close combat".
"Ohhh Franklin,you'll be the first one to taste it" Jade had a considerable amount of hatred for Franklin that even surprised himself.
"Killua hurry up, there's an internet cafe right there!" Gon point at a building as he walked in, "Im coming and calm down you look like a country bumpkin" Killua said is he also walked in.
"JADE!" Gon said as he was surprised to see his friend in here, "why didn't you call me all this time?" Jade said annoyed, "ohh sorry our phone broke" Killua said as he also walked up to Jade.
"By the way, I searched up Greed Island but nothing popped up, are you trying to scam me?" Jade changed the topic so quickly that both Gon and Killua were caught off guard.
"No, we'll show you come" Gon said as he sat down and started logging in to a computer.
He then went onto the Hunters website and put in a URL, "look look!, it says right here Greed Island is a game for Nen users!" Gon said excitedly.
Jade frown as he read "if a player dies within the game, they die in real life.", "what type of game is that" Jade said taken aback.
"50 players died?!" Killua said with wide eyes as both Jade and Gon looked at what he was pointing towards.
"Ssss" they both sucked in air, Jade couldn't help but ask " why the hell are you looking for this?, "this is literally a death trap!".
Gon then said "it's something that has clues about my father" Jade saw the sad look in his eyes as his heart fluttered thinking about his dad.
"Sigh, so how are we supposed to get this game since there isn't being made anymore?" "There seems to be seven copies being sold at the Yorknew auction, so we plan on buying it there" Killua said.
"What's the price?", " it's" Killua paused as he couldn't believe the number he saw, Jade looked, "ITS 8.9 BILLION JENNIES!!" they both screamed.
"How are we gonna get that money?" Jade said still sucking in air.
