Third exam.

After four hours Gen stopped his meditation.

Gen knew what the clock is because he has internal clock.

Gen did everything to get him ready and went back to his friends.

"Yo." Gen said.

"Gen!" Gon said.

"How was your training?" Killua asked.

"Pretty good." Gen said.

"But why did you train?" Gon asked.

'Hmm even thought he is my brother I can't reveal everything to him.' Gen said.

"I was just learning on fighting styles." Gen said.

"Oh that's nice." Gon said.

"Yeah." Gen said.

"How long does we have before the third exam?" Gen asked.

"About twenty minutes." Killua answered.

"Did you guys pack everything you need?" Gen asked random questions to not to sit in silence.

"Yeah! I packed my fishing rod." Gon said.

"Else?" Gen asked.

"Some water." Gon said.

Gen was little taken aback.

"So you are saying that you didn't pack anything else?" Gen asked.

"Hmm." Gon said like he did something good.

"Baka." Gen yelled.

"Take this." Gen took a knife that he had prepared for Gon because he knew him too well.

"Thanks!" Gon said.

After fifteen minutes an announcement came.

"Everyone the third exam is about to start." Voice came from speaker.

"Please come to lounge in two minutes." The voice said.

Gon looked at the window.

"Is that where the next exam is about to begin?" Gon asked.

"Probably." Gen said looking at a huge mountain tower.

"What is this place?" Someone asked.

"There is nothing here." Other said.

"Ahem." the same voice said.

"Everyone the third exam is about to begin." A green creature said.

"Is that the same creature that gave us our badges?" Gon asked.

"Yeah it is." Gen said.

"The third exam will be done in this tower, otherwise called the Trick Tower." The creature said.

"Trick tower?" Leorio questioned.

"To pass this exam, you must reach the tower's base alive." The creature said.

"The time limit is seventy-two hours." The creature said.

"With that we will now begin the third exam." The creature said.

"I pray for your success." The creature said and walked back to the airship.

"So it's finally my turn?" A man with violet hair said while eating chips.

"Best of luck to everyone." Voice came from the airship.

Gen walked to the side and looked down.

'Well we are high.' Gen thought.

'It's sad that I can't fly.' Gen thought.

Gon, Killua, Leorio and Kurapika came and looked down as well.

"So high." Leorio said.

"Yeah." Kurapika said.

"What should we do?" Leorio asked.

"Are we supposed to climb down?" Leorio asked.

"That would be impossible." Kurapika said.

"I recommend that we wait for a while and watch what other are doing." Gen said.

"Yeah, I support Gen's idea." Killua said.

"Climbing down would be impossible, but not for me." A man came boasting.

"But a top class rock climber can handle this with no problem." The man said.

"Wow." Gon said.

"He is going down pretty fast." Killua said.

"Looks like I will be the first one to pass the third exam." The man said.

Just as he said that he heard sound of wings.

The creature came and took the man in his mouth and swallowed him.

"Well no rock climbing then." Gen said.

"Yeah..." Gon said.

"It looks like there are secret passages behind these rocks." Gen said.

"Yeah that might be a possibility." Killua said.

"I will go down to one." Gen said.

"By your self?" Gon asked.

"It looks like only one can go through one." Gen said.

"Yeah. Good luck." Kurapika said.

"Yeah, Good luck." Killua said.

"Bye." Gen said while he found a passage way.

Gen stepped on the place and went inside.

The whole place was dark...
