Chapter 61: Not so good...

"Impossible. You are incapable of friendship."

He continues to speak.

"The only thing that you can do, is discern whether or not you can kill them. That, is all that you were ever taught. Gon is such a radiant personality that you don't know how to clarify him. I charge pass Kurapika, Leorio, and the Ninja guy. They call for me to come back, I don't listen. Before I could punch him, he throws pins without looking. I'm hit, and I fall onto the floor. I can feel my muscles in my legs start to swell up. Seems he hit my nerve. Killua looks scared, but I keep smiling. I smile, even as I pull out the pins. Blood starts to drip down.

I stumble to get up, I feel very tired. It may be due to the fight, the 9 items I've summoned, or my heart pounding, but I feel very tired. Not once did I stop smiling.

Esther: "Killua, listen. He may be right in you being scared for your own life, but that's ok. Everyone can be scared, but how you use that fear is what will help you grow. We can grow together, you don't have to become what you were born into. Because that so-called 'home' you will be returning to isn't going to help."

I may have been influenced by my family, but Gon helped stabilize that. Be with Gon, he can help heal you. We're in this together, you and me!"

I hold out my hand to Killua, he stares at my ears and tail. I don't budge, but I do feel uncomfortable. I'm not so good at this whole emotional stuff. I smile.

Esther: "What do you say?"
