Chapter 59: Familiar...

I laugh. He starts to wobble. He falls onto the floor, numb.

"What did you do?!"

Esther: "Oh nothing much, I just took what I learned back at phase 4 and used it against you."

He fumbles to get up. He notices a small dart on his arm. He pulls it out and feels it.

"oh, I see. You used some sort of muscle relaxer to immobilize me for a short while. To bad, I'll heal soon. I've trained myself incase something like this happens."

I can feel the air around him shift. He feels more dangerous now. I step back.

"oh, you noticed. Impressive. But I'm afraid that it's far to late."

He charges to me quickly. I can't dodge in time. I'm kneed in the stomach, causing me to fall down, coughing. Looking up at him, his stare is calculative. The dirt I used on him before is no longer bothering him. After possibly 2 hours, he's repeatedly kept kicking and punching me. At this point, many old memories of my father beating me up surfaces. I can remember the cold room, the chains, the dark lighting, my mom's soft cries, and his laughter. I can remember his stare, my mother's death, and my loss of hope.

My loss of hope... My hope of ever leaving that place. No, I don't want to remember. I don't! I hear silence… As I open my eyes, I see that nothing is moving. Looking around, everyone and everything is frozen. What happened? Footsteps approach me. I try to move my head but it seems I can only move my eyes and mouth.

A shadow covers me, my heart palates. Their silhouette is outlined on the floor, it looks familiar…

Esther: "Who's there?!"

They're silent. What do they want? I can feel them patting my head, something about this pat feels familiar too…

Esther: "Show yourself already!"

They remove their hand. A water droplet is heard hitting the ground. Are they crying?

"…Not now…"

That voice! It sounds like- I'm punched. I'm send flying away. Slamming onto the wall, my head feels numb . I stare at the Ninja man, blood dripping down from my head. Staggering to get up, I wipe my head. Most of my injuries aren't hurting anymore. That voice sounds very familiar. It sounded like mom…That realization hits me. My heart is hurting very badly, I'll show that Ninja guy how I feel for getting interrupted!

I clutch my chest as I walk back to the Ninja man, my heart isn't very stable. I don't care for my injuries right now. I am very angry. Taking a quick first step, I pounce towards him. My blood drips onto the floor, leaving a trail. He's taking me for a foul. He steps to the side and dodges my kick. But my aim wasn't for the kick. Almost as quickly as he dodged, I pull out chains and wrap it around his neck.

Since I charge passes him, he's pulled along with me. He falls onto the floor. I stare back as he lays there, tightening the chains around his throat. I can hear him struggling to breath. I start counting down. Ninja guy keeps pulling at them, even taking out his blade in order to cut it off. It's pointless.

I can hear him choking, his face becoming similar to mother. Funny, how I'm doing the one thing I hate the most since this is how mother died to someone else. As I judged his breathing rate, I retracted the chains when he is unable to move properly. He gasps for breath, I pull out pins and throw them at his joints. Now he can't move unless I remove them. I've summon a total of 8 items today. I feel very tired, and my heart is getting worse.

I walk up to him, and crouch. I smirk.

Esther: "So, listen. If you don't give up, I'll dislocate your arms and legs. Trust me, it won't be pretty."
