Transmigration!

"W-where the hell…" Tadao looked around at his new surroundings. It appears that he was under a tree on top of a hill. Below him was a vast field, where the steady breeze rippled through the tall grass like waves in the ocean. In the distance was what looked like a town, surrounded by a strong stone wall. A quiet river ran through the town and into the forest in the distance. As Tadao slowly got up and stretched, he noticed that he was wearing different clothes. Instead of the usual white t-shirt and black sweatpants, he now had a blue shirt with a collar and gray pants, topped off with leather boots, armor…and a sword? "H-hold on...did I get..."

"T-Tadao, Is that you?" whispered a soft, familiar voice beside him. He looked down to see his mother, Etsuko. She was also wearing different clothing. She had a tight white dress on with a leather corset, highlighting her mature curves. She also had a sword against her waist, which looked much more grander than the one Tadao has. Despite all that, her brown hair was still tied up in her signature motherly updo.

"HUH? MOM?"

"You don't have to yell, I'm right here!" Etsuko said, playfully covering her ears, "Besides, I think our first priority is figuring out where 'here' actually is."

Just then, a bright red light whizzed past them. Tadao tried searching for it, but couldn't due to the sheer speed, until he was met with a tap on the shoulder. He turned around to see a cute imp, wearing a red one-piece swimsuit. It had black bat-like wings, and horns of the same color.

"Heroes from another world, welcome to Diavenia!" It said with a smug expression, "My name is Baelz, and I am one of the gods of this world."

Etsuko reached out to the imp. "Aww Tadao! Look how cute it is!" Baelz allowed her to give her a little pet as she cupped the tiny being in her arms.

"God? Yeah, whatever." Tadao scoffed. "We never asked to be summoned here. So if you could get us back home, then-"

"Hey now." Baelz said, casting some strange spell that temporarily silenced Tadao, "You were summoned here to defeat the demon lord. After that, you can go home…I think…probably?"

Etsuko seemed frightened, "D-demon lord? That sounds dangerous."

"Don't be scared, kind lady." Baelz proudly stated with hands on her hips. "Both of you have been given Blessings!"

"Blessings?" Tadao looked confused.

"Just close your eyes, focus, and say the word 'Status'."

Etsuko immediately followed her commands and closed her eyes. "S-Status!" Suddenly, a blue holographic panel appeared in front of her. "Oh wow!"

Baelz laughed, "Here, you can see your stats and what spells you have."

Tadao took a look at his mothers status menu, and his eyes went wide.

[ETSUKO SAWADA: LVL 99, HEALTH: 50,000 (MAXED), MANA: 1,244 (MAXED). ABILITIES: HURRICANE AURA, TSUNAMI SHIELD, SPAWN TORNADO. EQUIPMENT: BLESSED LEATHER ARMOR, BLESSED DRESS (WHITE), BLESSED BROADSWORD]

"Holy shit. This is fuckin' insane." Tadao whispered, but quickly received a donk on the back of his head.

"Tadao! What did I tell you! Don't use dirty words!" Etsuko scolded.

"Tch. Sorry. It's just that you're OP, mom."

"O..P?"

"Overpowered. I mean look at how high your numbers are! Blessed equipment sounds like it's really good. Also, this looks like it's some powerful water based magic…"

Baelz snickered, "Those that have been summoned are given powers that match their morals. Looks like she's pretty much a young, playful little mermaid."

"Aww, little old me? An young mermaid?" Etsuko blushed at the remarks.

Tadao sighed, but readied himself to open up his menu. "Anyways, Status!" The same blue holographic panel popped up in front of him…and his excited expression immediately turned sour.

[TADAO SAWADA: LEVEL 1, 50 HEALTH, 20 MANA. ABILITIES: FIREBALL, ESCAPE. EQUIPMENT: LEATHER ARMOR, ADVENTURER'S TUNIC, SMALL CUTLASS]

Tadao quickly grabbed the imp simply minding her own business and squeezed her. "Oi, Balls, what the hell is this?"

Baelz slid out rather easily and dusted off her dress. "First of all, it's Baelz." She frowned, "Second of all, Looks like you were a douchebag before you got summoned. Sucks for you~"

Tadao then readied himself to hit the imp with a haymaker, but felt another donk on the back of his head.

"Tadao!" He turned to see his mother, with her hand up and frowning.

"Sorry. Sorry." Tadao said, praying to not get hit again. He examined his stats once more and sighed. "Looks like I can grow stronger though, so it's not all too bad."

"Ehem!" Baelz said, clearing her throat, "like I said, your task is to slay the demon lord, and he can only be slain through the DemonWright Sword."

Etsuko tilted her head, "and where can we find this sword Baelz?"

"There are actually four parts to it, and they're at a dungeon on the four corners of the World." Baelz then summoned a map out of thin air with the snap of her fingers, "Here use this. It has the locations of all of them."

Tadao snatched the map and examined it. "Hey, looks like the first one is pretty close."

"That's right!" Etsuko chimed in.

Baelz giggled, "I'll warn you though, there's a pretty strong monster defending the first part there."

"M-Monster?" Estuko shrieked.

"It should be easy as long as you have a party. Maybe you'll find some members in that town." Baelz said, pointing at the civilization in the distance.

"A party? Like with cake and stuff?"

Tadao sighed, "No mama, it's like a group of skilled people called adventurers that take requests."

"So it's like in that game you always ignore me for?"

Tadao scratched his head, "uh…yeah"

"Anyways, I must go now." Baelz said, "I have given you everything you need, good luck, my chosen adventures!" Baelz then put her hands together and slowly started to fade away from her legs.

"Bye Baelz!" Etsuko said with a happy wave.

"See ya Balls." Tadao also waved, but with a nasty smirk.

"IT'S BAELZ! WHY YOU LITTLE BA-" before she could finish her sentence, she had completely faded away.

Etsuko pouted, crossing her arms. "Why were you so mean to her Tadao?"

"Was I?"

"Yes. I told you to be nice to people you just met, didn't I?"

"Uhh. Y-yeah right." Tadao said, scratching his head. A memory of his mother saying exactly that flashed into his mind.

Etsuko then grabbed her son's hand and started dragging him towards the town. "Come on Tadao, let's go make that party!"

Near a bed made out of fluffy clouds, Baelz suddenly appeared out of thin air. "I'm home," she said, with no one there to answer. She took off her dress and put on her favorite pair of black cotton pajamas. She then jumped onto her bed and spread herself out.

"Honestly! Why does every hero I have to summon have to be so rude!" she sighed, "At least that mom is very kind," she said, putting her hands behind her head. "I hope it's successful this time. The kid's got potential...he just needs to be humbled."
