Whispering Wisp Movement: First Stage

The fight exhausted Arthur but not to the degree that he couldn't move. This fight was the perfect opportunity for Arthur to breakthrough to the first stage of the Whispering Wisp Movement. Although this event let Arthur breakthrough, Joseph's house was utterly destroyed.

Realizing what Arthur had done, he blamed himself for destroying Joseph's home. There was nothing else he could do at that time but kill the monster before it destroyed more than it already did. At the time of Arthur's sulking, Ken's ghostly appearance startled him.

"Why are you appearing now?" Arthur still kept his head down but could feel Ken's presence.

A smile appeared on Ken's face but Arthur didn't notice it, "Hahahaha! You did it! You broke through, something Joseph couldn't do for years! It seems now I have a sliver of hope on passing down Wisp Swordsmanship!" Joy could be heard in his voice.

"I-I can't, not until I make it up to Sir Joseph, his home is now broken because of me!" Arthur felt nervous due to what Joseph will tell him. Everything Joseph did was a blessing to Arthur but how could he let Joseph's house get destroyed?

Arthur needs to think of something that could possibly earn him a lot of money in a short amount of time, after racking his brain for a while he thought of nothing. With a hopeful look in his eyes, he asked Ken to which he responded, " There's an underground arena where you could earn a lot of money. Interested?"

There were actually a lot more ways to earn quick money but not big money. Arthur's situation actually aligned with Ken's training idea for Wisp Swordsmanship. so he informed Arthur about the ins and outs of the underground arena.

The underground arena in Rhast was actually well known but not publicly announced. It was where people within the kingdom meet up to bet on fighters to gamble. This attracted the attention of people with ranks up to King Rank, the same rank as King Rhast.

The earning of the fighter would depend on how much people bet on the fight. The fighters would earn a suitable sum depending on whether they won or not. But this is Arthur we are talking about, just how difficult would these people be compared to the devil he fought? They were akin to trash.

This was simply killing 2 birds with 1 stone, Arthur would be able to earn enough money to rebuild Joseph's house and at the same time train his techniques with people without restrictions.

Before Arthur left, Ken threw Arthur another scroll but it seemed different although it looked the same. This was the scroll for Wisp Swordsmanship, something Ken was desperate to pass down.

With a simple nod, Arthur left in search for the underground arena.

After talking to Rebecca and finalizing his departure from the guild. He now only needed to release the 5 girls and help Arthur breakthrough to Infant Stage. But little did Joseph know that Arthur already reached the status of an Adult Ranker capable of defeating Emperor Rankers.

Joseph first focused on helping the 5 girls break their seals because Arthur could easily breakthrough to Infant Rank.

Since Rob's research was taken away, there was nothing else Joseph could do but provide Rob the materials so he could recreate it once again, there was no other way.

Joseph headed to Rob's store to know what materials he needed to purchase so Rob could recreate it. After arrival and asking the materials needed, Joseph went out immediately to buy them.

What limited Rob's research as not his speed rather the materials he needed to experiment with and the cost needed to supply the needed materials. It took Rob a very long time to achieve the breakthrough in getting rid of the seals because he cannot afford the materials he needed to experiment with.

Now, Rob had already broken through to the materials he needed and already knew what he needed. The only thing was that is was extremely expensive the list needed a perfect ratio that was written in what was stolen.

It would cost at least 1 gold to try the materials so he could get the ratio he needed from this complicated process. Joseph already has the money so he went and purchased everything so Rob could once again finish his research.

While buying the materials where he needed for Rob's research he felt a cold gaze upon him. He already knew what this meant from his experience. Walking into an alleyway he suddenly stopped and dropped everything he bought and dashed in front of the spies.

"Wisp Movement"

Joseph didn't have the time to question them anymore since he already knew why he was being spied. Without hesitation, Joseph smashed the closest spy's head into pulp which terrified the other 2 spies nearby the vicinity.

Within another 10 seconds, the other spies died while trying to run away from him. Joseph didn't need to use any special strengthening skills since his base stats are already high enough to kill them easily.

After this little incident, Joseph washed his blood-stained hands in a nearby fountain and simply went back to Rob's store.

After Rob received the materials he needed he was dumbfounded, he thought that Joseph was just asking the materials he needed so he could create a plan based on it, never did it occur to him that Joseph would buy the materials instead.

"I need around a week to finish this..."

"It fits within my plan. I'll stay here to guard you in case someone else would steal your research."

One of the girls overheard their conversation but didn't get her hopes too high since this entire event was a rollercoaster of emotions. She did tell the other but they also didn't get their hopes up.

Walking in an old abandoned warehouse, a buff man alongside 2 gorgeous ladies was checked in with another burly man but the latter was more intimidating. Arthur looked at the scene from on top of another building hidden from plain sight.

This was one of the places Ken told him to visit but he needed confirmation to enter. What this confirmation was, Arthur did not know.

Waiting for information, a teen similar to his age entered the warehouse but the guard didn't stop him at all but simply snickered. After a while, the guard looked back inside and seemed surprised but didn't dwell on it.

Seeing this, Arthur mustered all the courage he could and went down. All he could do at this point was try. At the entrance of the warehouse, Arthur casually entered the vicinity trying to look rugged but his youthful face didn't help, he was just 18.

The guard didn't stop him at all but snickered just like before. Ignoring this, Arthur went inside and saw a surprisingly luxurious entrance with a red theme. However luxurious it may be, it was still a small compact space. There on the table laid a status orb like in the Adventurer's Guild but at the same time seemed different.

A hooded man sat there in front of him gesturing to put his hand on the orb, Arthur did so. After a few seconds, the hooded man's expression changed, "Kid, you might in the wrong neighborhood. This isn't where kids go in and play. What's your business?"

"Fight. Win. Get Money."

"Heh. A weakling like you trying to fight? Not my business. Pay up 50 Iron Coins."

With a casual toss, Arthur gave the man the money he needed. Arthur only had 40 Iron Coins now. The man then gestured Arthur to go in.

"How can the kids these days be so god damn rich!" The man mumbled to himself.

After Arthur went inside, it was in contrast to what the entrance suggested as he got closer inside he started to hear an announcer's voice. It was a caged arena, blood was everywhere, there were people screaming both in joy and in agony. It was a total deathmatch arena.

As soon as Arthur saw the arena, a body dropped inside the arena while another person kept yelling with his arms up. "NOW LET US CONGRATULATE OUR NEW CHAMPION, ADULT RANKER, DEAD JOE!" Screams of the people inside could destroy someone's eardrums for how loud they were. It was surprising how quiet it was outside.

Arthur already knew what was the process in fighting here since Ken fought here a long time ago when they needed money. Arthur searched for a person with a tag that suggests that he organizes the fights. But before he could, another fight started but this time it was the teen the same age as he was that was fighting the champion. Dead Joe.

"LET US WELCOME OUR NEW CHALLENGER! X!" For some reason, the crowd was even more riled up than before. Even louder than they already were.

After Arthur found that particular person, he first watched the fight that the teen was in. After the hood of the teen was taken off, it revealed someone Arthur was quite acquainted with.

Arthur opened his eyes in shock as his thoughts rambled, "Mia Amir!"
