Leaving the dent behind, Loki walked through the arc that had formed and made his way through the street, finding his way to the large white stone building with crooked columns.
'Poor goblins.' Loki thought, 'They don't have the right to use wands. Would all the other non-human magical species grow stronger if there was no restriction on the usage of wands?'
Entering through the grand doors, Loki found himself in a smaller hall where a different set of silver doors stood closed, and on them, etched in silver, was what looked like a warning.
Before he could read the poem though someone bumped into him.
"Can't you see where you walk?" It was Draco, along with his father.
"Oh? Draco? Fancy meeting you here. What are you doing with your father? Taking him to solve some trouble you caused?" Loki retorted back.
The Malfoy's scowled but Loki paid them no mind and walked into the bank with a confident stride.
Once inside the bank, Loki waited in front of a teller patiently without hurrying him or disturbing him from counting coins.
But given that he couldn't turn back because the Malfoys were behind him, Loki soon found himself trapped between a rock and a hard place.
"Mr. Malfoy?" The teller asked as soon as he finished his job and looked up.
Loki felt estranged and a little furious, so he shouted a little, "I was here first!"
The goblin pushed himself a little off his seat and looked at Loki who was hidden by his tall desk.
"I was here first." Loki said once again with narrowed eyes.
"We know that Mr.?"
"Loki! I'm Loki."
"Because they have a premium account with us Mr. Loki." The teller said with a scowl on his face.
"..." Loki could see and hear and feel the smirks of the Malfoys behind him, his face filled and flushed with embarrassment and he dared not to turn around.
But then Loki's mind flipped as he saw the Malfoys step around him and walk away with a goblin towards the private chambers. Because as Draco walked around him he whispered, "Of course, you're here to beg for money. Aren't you, pauper?"
The smugness in Draco's voice and the mirth all caused Loki's emotions to boil but he remained calm.
'Calm down Loki! Calm down!'
Loki repeated the sentence in his head and ignored the feeling of anger that was rising inside him.
Once the, goblin was back to meet with him, Loki spoke to him with a frown.
"Can you give me the money meant for Hogwarts orphan students?"
The goblin's scowl further deepened and he finally spat back, "Yes. May I have your application form?"
"Yes." Loki nodded and pulled out an application form that Snape had handed over to him at the end of the year.
The Goblin scrutinised the form and only after he was satisfied with it, did he respond affirmatively. "Here's you money." The goblin said handing over a bag filled with thirty Galleons to Loki.
Loki collected the money and then walked away from the bank, moving to the Flourish and Blotts store where he could buy his books for the year.
Entering Flourish and Blotts, Loki walked to the front of the table and spoke to the receptionist, a man with greying hair and a soft smile.
"What do you want boy?" The man asked calmly as Loki neared him.
"The books set for Second years at Hogwarts Sir." Loki said calmly.
"Ah I see, a second year eh? Heard that the famous Lockhart is going to be teaching you. Consider yourself lucky?"
"I guess." Loki nodded since he didn't know much about the situation to think anything good or bad about it.
But if he had to guess if Lockhart was good or bad, Loki hoped that the professor would at least be better than the last one. 'At least he won't have the spirit of a demented dark lord attached to the back of his head.'
"He has an event this weekend, a book signing event for his newest book that he will launch on the same day! Magical Me!" The receptionist exclaimed enthusiastically.
"I see. I will try to be there." Loki shrugged and nodded while giving the receptionist a polite smile.
The receptionist noticed Loki's lack of enthusiasm and did not delay any further, bringing out a set of books from behind the counter and handing them over to Loki.
"Need anything else? We've recently got a stack of invisible books about invisibility." The receptionist offered with a polite smile.
But Loki rejected it politely and walked out of the store.
Moving with his books in hand Loki walked the Diagon Alley which was lit up only by various lanterns and soft floating lights.
Overall the place looked beautiful and soothed the soul but that was not what Loki was searching for.
'Why did the divination tell me to come here? Was it just for me to get insulted by the Malfoys?'
Loki walked a bit more but didn't find anything, except a pamphlet with the following written on it.
"Want to watch something beautiful?"
"Want to watch something that takes your breath away?"
"Want to watch something that cannot be replicated with your wands?"
"You are welcome to Zonko's proud Fireworks Presentation!"
Flipping over the pamphlet Loki found that the address was 935 Diagon Alley and with nothing better to do, Loki left to visit the show.
Loki watched the show, confused, there was nothing special about it. Well, it was special in that many specially planned fireworks designs appeared in the sky and danced around like they were alive but there was nothing of any significance to Loki as a Beyonder.
Now, Loki was sitting on a bench with a *yawn* wondering what he had to do.
'Did I miss it?'
'Was today just for me to get insulted by the Malfoys?'
'Strange.'
Loki wanted to go back up into the Sefirah Castle and find out if he still had to stay here so he made his way back to the Leaky Cauldron, to rent a room for a bit and perform his divination.
"Need a room for a few minutes please.", Loki said tapping the table.
Tom looked at him for a bit and then said, "Sure. Erm…room five is occupied, why don't you go to room six? As long as you keep it below ten minutes, you don't need to pay."
Loki nodded thankfully and made his way up the stairs, going to a room on whose door was etched the number six.
Entering the door, Loki closed it behind himself and just as he was about to begin the ritual to enter the Sefirah Castle, he heard something.
"I know what you did!"
