Lesson 1: Think like a Man. (Part one)

And when I thought that all hope was lost, that there were no more ways for me to get back at her, she opened another for me.

Immediately she left my house I called Pamela.

"Pamela I need you to draft a contract for me"

"Am sorry Sir, am still sleepy and I may write the wrong thing" Pamela said firmly

"But it's urgent pam"

"So is my sleep" Pamela said

"But this can't wait" I complained

"Mine can't. Your contract can wait but my sleep can't. So I'll see you in the morning, by 8am!" she shouted, stressing the 8am and ended the call.

Hmm, I guess she must be really sleepy. But anyways one thing wasn't changing, someone was going to learn how to love.

By the time I entered the office, Pamela had already drafted the contract. She called me back and I told her what I wanted and she got it done.

That's what I like about Pamela, she was always fast.

"So who is this contract for this time?" she asked as I kept smiling at it

"Pierce. Am finally getting my revenge and I am more than thrilled" I replied

"I don't think I know anyone aside from you that seeking revenge is like soul food to them" Pamela said in a sarcastic tone.

"Nope, am the only one" I said with a broad smile on, then I heard the knock on the door

"Come in" Pamela said then she entered the office. I had never seen her so calm before, she badly wanted this.

"Good morning Sir. You sent for me" Scarlett said

"Yes. Please Miss Johnson, hand the file over to her" I said and Pamela gave the file to her.

"What you are looking at is the contract for our agreement yesterday. Please go through it and save your complains to yourself" I said then she raised her head and looked at me and I looked back at her.

"What are these messed up rules in here. Like number one, I have to do as you say. I don't like being told what to do"

"Am sorry but this is my world now, that's rule number 2". And just as she was about to talk I cut her shut, "and that takes us to number 3, you cannot complain about anything or any rule, just do as told. And also down to number 4, 5, 6 and 7. 4, states that if you talk back, you're dead. 5, states that you will have to be my maid and stay with me as payment for my services. 6, states that you cannot have any other affair apart from boss- employee, teacher- student or falling for me. And 7, states that you cannot break any rule and I am the only one that can break any rule" I stated and she just kept staring at me like she barely heard a thing I said.

" Okay, back up, just back up" she said then chuckled and scoffs like she found something I said amusing

"Is something funny?"

"yeah. The other rules are quiet lame. I understand you can be childish. Some things can't even happen like 4, talk back you are dead? (laughs), even if I was a mice you won't be able to kill me. But the one that really caught my eye was 6. Dear even if you were the last man on earth and I needed to fall in love to go to heaven I rather go to hell than fall for you. On the other what you should beware of is "falling for me". She said with a smirk on her face

"And what makes you think that?" I asked as I took a few steps in her direction and now I was standing close to her and I could see how she tried to suppress her hiccups.

"I-I have heard I could be pretty attractive"

I chuckled, "Sweet heart, we'll see about that" then I leaned closer and whispered into her ear "don't say I didn't warn you" then I stood up straight then walked back to my desk and picked a book from my desk titled "think like a man, act like a lady".

"What is this for?" she asked as she caught the book when I threw it to her,

"I have 3 first lessons that I use and if they don't work then we proceed but the first 3 are always effective. And the first step is to think like a man. So you will have to read that book to the end, before the end of today. And know one can know anything about this contract of ours"

"all of this. Well that means no work right?" she asked with a smile

"am sorry where did that come from. I have some things for you to do. I need you to file and sort out these documents from last two years, we are doing inventory" I said with a smile.

She was about to open her mouth to say something but I stopped her before she could start.

"Miss Pierce 2,3,4" I said as I walked towards the door, then I opened it with a smile on my face and left her standing.

"does she really need to read the book?" Pamela asked as she walked next me

"not at all. But I mean what is life without a little fun" I said with a smirk on my face and Pamela smiled too.

"Are you ok? What did the boss say? Why did he call you?" Simon asked

"Am good. Okay am not. I accepted his deal to teach me". I said sadly

"Okay, and how is that a problem?"

"In return I have to be his maid for the 6 months we will be spending together" I complained

"Hmm, spending together. I like the sound of that. So just don't do it" he suggested

"I can't, I signed a contract"

"Contract huh, so tell me was one of the rules stating that you shouldn't tell anybody?" he asked and I nodded "and also was one of the rules stating that you shouldn't fall in love with each other?"

"how do you know that?"

"I just know" he said as he shoulder shrugged, "but you know it never works right?

"What do you mean?"

"At the end of the day you guys will fall for each other, then try to separate because of the contract and then later on it will come out in the open that it was just a contract but in the end, the heart wants what it wants and it always gets it" he said

"That's impossible, besides am strong willed" I said confidently

"Alright, if you say so" he said then put on his phone, put his ear piece in my ear and played "Uncover" by Zara Larsson and put it on the loudest volume

This just happened to be one of my favourite song and I loved to hear a lot in times when I was tensed or confused or emotional and Simon always knew when that time was. I just hope these 6 months end well.
