Spencer Sullivan sneered, "I'll give you three minutes to consider whether or not to tell the truth."
With that, he took a few strides, walked past Adelaide, and sat down in the middle of the sofa.
Then he slowly turned his gaze to Adelaide, "Otherwise, your parents may spend a long time in prison, or they may never get out."
This threat struck at the heart of Adelaide's weakness. Her eyes widened in fear. Looking at Spencer Sullivan's handsome face, she had no interest in admiring his good looks. Scared, she told the truth, "It was Mr. Sullivan's brother who arranged it for me."
Spencer knew it was Anthony Sullivan. He wasn't surprised and continued to ask coldly, "Why did he arrange a job for you? You two don't seem to know each other."
Adelaide shook her head, "I don't know, he arranged it for me."
She didn't dare to meet Spencer's gaze.
Spencer's voice grew colder, "Still not willing to tell the truth?"
