The two went back and forth, praising each other in business terms.
Suddenly, the fish in Yvonne Young's mouth tasted of blood. Unable to control her nausea, she retched.
Yvonne Young covered her mouth, dry heaving.
A tissue was handed to her. Surprised, she looked at Spencer Sullivan and then realized, "Thank you."
She politely said thanks, took the tissue, then looked at Lazarus Macdonald and Ben Sutton speechlessly, "There's no need to bring professional jargon to the dinner table."
As she spoke, she rubbed her chest. How had her appetite become so weak?
Throughout the meal, Yvonne had come to quite like the interaction between Spencer Sullivan, Ben Sutton, and Lazarus Macdonald.
Lazarus Macdonald was the extremely humorous, dark, and sarcastic type, perhaps because of his profession.
Ben Sutton, on the other hand, was more gentle and refined.
After eating, Ben Sutton started to clear the table. Yvonne Young stopped him, "Dr. Sutton, I can do it."
