Finally

After stopping in the master bedroom, he put on different clothing and brushed his hair forward so it lay on his forehead. The most surprising thing he did was go through one of the drawers and find reading glasses his father used to wear.

He popped out the lenses and put them over his eyes.

He didn't look like himself at all.

He wore a short sleeve button up and slacks. His shoes were casual. He hated every second of it but it was necessary to be able to move around freely.

Before he knew it, he was on a train to the southern country where the weather would be even more mild than Gaulenzia.

He had never been there before but it was where his mother was from. She always spoke of it so fondly.

On the train ride, Luca watched as the sun dipped down towards the horizon and the shadows became long.

It was night when they finally reached the station.
