Linda was quickly led to a police car by the sheriff, while the rest lingered inside.

The two in the main room noticed the bright light from their colleague's flashlight approaching them as it blinded them.

"Did you find anything? The lady from before doesn't strike me as a murderer-" asked the one that had found Linda and brought her to the sheriff, he noticed the light shifting postion and suddenly something flew right past his head, instinctively he turned around, hearing a grunt behind him.

Only to see his other colleague with an hatchet stuck in his head, hacked right into his left eye, the man remained standing for a moment before convulsing suddenly and collapsing like a puppet without strings.

The officier, from a calm little city was shocked by this and turned back toward who he still believed to be his colleague, only for the light be dropped, revealing a woman wearing bark as a mask, positioning her hands on the handle of an axe, swinging it right in between the junction in between the policeman's upper and lower jaw.

With a strong twist, completely separating the two parts and removing her axe before kicking the bleeding man onto the corpse of his colleague.

Breaking the flashlight and retrieving her hatchet, rubbing the blood off her weapons on her shirt, she turned her head to the side, seeing the one that had gotten sick at the sight of the corpse finally deciding to come.

Much like the rest, he was an easy picking, ambushing him after he went out of sight of the two outside and stepped into the darkness of the station, hitting him in the throat with the top of the axe head to quiet him down before grabbing him by the back of his head.

Grasping the handle right below the metal head, she spun the axe, the spike facing the man and without wasting any time, shoving it into one of his eyes, he tried to scream in pain but only a low, hoarse noise came out, to low for the two chatting men or the sheriff to hear.

Twisting it until it came out, blood spurted out but she paid it no mind and instead stabbed in other eye as well before dropping him to the ground, he hadn't even thought to reach for his own gun and now, silenced and blinded, bleeding on the ground, he crawled away as Lissy watched.

Pinning him down by stepping on his nape, she reached for his shirt and after ripping it apart, carefully cleansed her axe again, keeping it free of blood despite the fact that it was apparent that rust had began clinging to it.

With a little effort, she crushed his nape and proceeded to the next step.

"A woman with dark hair from the woods? That lives with an old man with odd eyes..." the sheriff repeated to himself after locking Linda in the car.

"We need to issue a-" he barely was able to voice his order to the two officiers outside before an axe and hatchet came flying at them, the first hitting one in the chest and throwing him back so hard that he hit the van that was at least two meters behind him, while the second hit the other in the neck, stupidly enough, he pulled it out, reducing what little odds of survival he had to zero and falling to the ground moments after.

Stepping out without a care, the murderer was faced with the sheriff ready to shoot.

"You better raise your hands!" he called out, Lissy seemed unfazed for a few moments but she did end up raising her hands, in a lazy fashion, almost like something you would see in movies before a slow motion of the criminal being arrested began.

"That's not a little infraction you just committed Lissy" he commented, sweating heavily as he approached her, unable to tell anything she might be thinking due to the mask, it felt like he was trying to arrest a corpse without emotions.

As he approached, something became apparent to everyone that could see the scene, Linda banged against the door and windows of the police car she was in, realising that the sheriff was incapable pushing the trigger, maybe because he couldn't bear trying to kill someone or perhaps because he knew Lissy.

It didn't matter, after a few moments, she dropped the act and casually walked up to him without any urgency, towering over the man for a few second before hitting the gun out of his hands.

"Ah fuck..." he said to himself as he backed off, reaching into his pocket, he opened the car for Linda to run as he prepared to hold the lumberjack back.

He may be afraid of pulling the trigger but distributing a few punches was no problem.

He punched up at her face, her head barely moved and he felt like had just punched concrete, he kept on hitting her however he could, demonstrating some moves unexpected for a man his age and build but it was no use, even as she stood there and took everything, he was the one getting the most hurt.

A single slug in the face and he was reeling, Lissy walked to the back of her van while he was dazed, retrieving shears and splitting the tool into two blades, she positioned herself in front of the sheriff, letting Linda take some advance.

Bringing both parts of the shears down, she slit opened both of the man's wrist before walking off, leaving him to bleed out while she retrieved all of her tools and put them in her van, taking the wheel, she drove after Linda.

Resting against a wall, the sheriff lamented to himself before reaching for the gun that had been slapped out of his hands earlier, hardly able to hold it in the state he was in, visibly drained of blood, she fired a few shots in the air to try and alert the sleeping people before drifting to sleep forever.
