Divine Keys

-3rd POV-

There could be seen two people looking at a gem with red color. One of them had long dark purple hair and indigo eyes, known as Dr. MEI.

"Can you do it?" (MEI)

Dr. MEI turned towards the other person, waiting for them to respond. The person was a young woman with medium length dual-toned hair, split in the middle between light and dark brown. Her eyes were Gray with pink pupils. Known as Vill-V.

"Of course! Playing with these toys are so much fun, they have so much potential! But your blueprint sure is boring~" (Vill-V)

Near the red gem was a blueprint of a greatsword and two guns.

"There is a ticking time bomb in the base. He defeated Kevin even when he had received the genes of Parvati. He is a threat bigger than a Herrscher. We need to make a weapon strong enough to kill him.

You must hurry if you value your own life. He can turn against us at any moment." (MEI)

MEI started walking towards the door.

"There is someone so interesting and you didn't tell me?! I need to meet him! Where is he right now?" (Vill-V)

Vill-V went towards the door to leave, forgetting her mission.

"You can meet him all you want after finishing with the new divine key." (MEI)

MEI grabbed Vill-V's hand and brought her back to the red gem.

"You are not fun..." (Vill-V)

Vill-V pouted and grabbed random things from a table.

"Leave. If you want me to concentrate you should lea- huh? She already left? No fun..." (Vill-V)

MEI already left, not wanting to hear more of Vill-V's antics.

'Humanity might gain another enemy...But if we can control him. We will gain a huge advantage.' (MEI)

"Huh? Alarms?" (MEI)

MEI rushed to the lab of Mobius. Where the alarms were ringing.

"Fuxi Nuwa, what happened?" (MEI)

"Dr. MEI! Dr. Mobius told us that she would experiment in her personal chambers. The alarms went off there!" (Nuwa)

"We need Kevin to investigate why the alarms went off. There are no cameras on Dr. Mobius's personal chambers. If we go there ourselves we might get in danger." (Fuxi)

MEI nodded and immediately ran out of Mobius's lab to find Kevin.

Kevin was just minding his own business eating Ramen in the canteen.

When the alarms went off Kevin didn't mind it and continued eating his ramen.

'Not my business. Ramen is the only thing that matters. And MEI.' (Kevin)

"Sir! Dr. MEI wants you to investigate the source of the alarm!" (Random Soldier)

'MEI? Say less.' (Kevin)

Kevin rushed towards Mobius's lab with his bowl of ramen in hand.

"Nuwa, what happened? MEI asked me to investigate the source of the alarm." (Kevin)

"Oh, Kevin! Your finally here. The alarm went off at the personal chambers of Mobius when she was experimenting. Please go and take a look! Dr. Mobius still hasn't come out of it!" (Nuwa)

"Where is MEI?" (Kevin)

"She went to inform you, didn't you see her?" (Nuwa)

"I will go and find MEI." (Kevin)

'I don't want to deal with Mobius's bullshit...' (Kevin)

"Wait! He really left...Why are there no soldiers coming here?! Fuxi left saying "I'm on my break". Why do I even have to deal with this?! Fine! I will be the one to check on Dr. Mobius!" (Nuwa)

Nuwa nervously walked to Mobius's chamber. Just as she was about to open the door.

"What are you doing?" (Klein)

"Hiip?! Klein! When did you come here?!" (Nuwa)

"I was waiting for Kevin to arrive. Where is he?" (Klein)

"He ran away saying he would find Dr. MEI..." (Nuwa)

"Shall we go in then?" (Klein)

"Are you sure? Dr. Mobius still didn't get out...We set the alarm to only go off when a huge amount of damage is dealt to the environment." (Nuwa)

"Do you have a better idea?" (Klein)

"Can't we wait for Kevin and Dr. MEI to come?" (Nuwa)

"No. I already wasted enough time. I need to go back to arranging Veldora's documents for joining fire MOTH." (Klein)

Klein walked to the door and slowly opened it.

"Dr. Mobius? Are you okay?" (Klein)

As Klein and Nuwa entered the room. A weird sight was seen before them. The room was a mess with broken things scattered everywhere. Mobius was on the ground unconscious with Veldora floating above her seemingly in deep thought.

"What happened here? Veldora what are you doing here?" (Nuwa)

Klein seeing Mobius's unconscious form went towards a table and grabbed a marker. Nuwa and Veldora couldn't help but stare at Klein's weird actions.

Klein went towards Mobius and started drawing on her face, ignoring Veldora and Nuwa's stares.

After finishing her drawing session. She stared at Veldora.

"First, what happened here? Second, why are you here? Third, why is Dr. Mobius unconscious? Please explain." (Klein)

"Sure...Want a seat? This will be a long one." (Veldora)

Veldora took out three chairs and a table out of nowhere.

"Couldn't we have used the ones already existing in the room?" (Klein)

"That wouldn't be fun! Right?" (Nuwa)

"You are indeed one of my people! Rejoice, for I shall explain every single detail to you!" (Veldora)

As Veldora was about to continue, a voice was heard from the door.

"Just what happened here?" (MEI)

"I was just about to explain!" (Veldora)

MEI stared at Veldora for a while. Deep in thought.

'Should I risk it?' (MEI)

"So I take it that you are responsible for this." (MEI)

"Ugh well, kinda?" (Veldora)

"Please don't resist. Kevin, go ahead." (MEI)

Kevin took out a couple of handcuffs out of nowhere and put them on Veldora.

'What was I even thinking...Did something happen to my thought process? I can only hope that he plays along.' (MEI)

"Am I getting arrested?" (Veldora)

"Yes." (Kevin)

"This was awkward..." (Nuwa)

Nuwa and Klein watched as Veldora was taken away by Kevin and MEI.

"And that's what happened when you two were unconscious." (Veldora)

"Seems legit~" (Elysia)

"Sigh, why am I surrounded by idiots..." (Mobius)
