The Family's Best Interest

Over the next couple of weeks leading up to the completion of the military base, Lady Sionia made it her mission to regain hers and her family's standing amongst the military and nobles clans.

First thing she did was improve the relationship between her and traitorous couple.

They sat across from each other in the common room of their rented home in the capital. Lady Sionia glanced at the couple and still had the urge to toss them out of family. She never liked her step-son and she liked Lady Lula even less.

The only thing she was happy about was that they married each other, leaving her son to find someone better than his ex-wife.

"What are you two planning to do?" Sionia sipped on a bit of her tea.

"What do you mean what are we going to do? Did you said that we should stick together as a family?" Lula replied snarky.

Lady Sionia smirked and looked over at Iolas, "You will ever consider me your mother, Iolas? After all these years?"
