Chapter 37. Return the Painting within Three Days

"This is Kevin Wang. I'm sure you've heard of my name." Kevin answers him calmly.

Hearing the name, Sam Wang shivers: "How do you have my private contact information, did you find my mother?"

Kevin sneers: "Mr. Wang, no need to worry about it, I just found your mother to ask for your contact information, I did not embarrass her. You're a wise man, and I'm sure you know why I am looking for you."

"I don't know why you're looking for me," Sam Wang replies.

"Even now, you want to pretend you don't know. Mrs. Lin's painting must still be in your hands, if you are smart, return it to her quickly, don't make her sad."

"But I don't have it anymore. I sold it."

"I don't care what your situation is now, I'll give you three days, within three days you return the painting to Mrs. Lin, and I can forgive you. If you don't, there will be bad consequences."

Sam wang is trembling, but he is a little puzzled. Why Kevin Wang did his best to help Mrs. Lin?

"Why are you going to help an old lady when a painting means not a big loss to her since her family is so rich?"

"Even if an old lady who I don't know asks me to help with justice, I won't hesitate to help. What's more, our two families have a good personal relationship."

Kevin does not reveal that he will become son-in-law of Mrs. Lin. Anyway, it would be better to keep a low profile.

Kevin continues: "This painting also has a special meaning to me, so please be sure to return it. When you return it, you can say you took it by mistake. I promise Mrs. Lin won't hold you accountable for anything. But if you refuse to return it, I think you will not be able to stand a foothold in Dragon City, or the nearby city, your hometown. I hope you think about it carefully."

Sam wang listens to Kevin, and he quickly nods his head: "Mr. Wang, I understand, I will do as what you told. I was too stupid to do the wrong thing. I will correct it right away. I hope you will give me a chance to mend my mistake."

Kevin does not continue to badger him: "You do as I said, I am waiting to see your action."

After hanging up the phone, Kevin breathes a sigh of relief. I'm sure this man won't be making any more waves. Everything's under control.

Kevin makes a phone call to Mrs. Lin.

Kevin's voice is particularly cordial: "Auntie, I found the cheater, if he returns you the painting within three days, you will let him go. Is that OK with you?"

Mrs. Lin's mouth is almost smiling crooked: "Kevin, good child, you are a reliable young man. Yes, there is no problem. If he can return it, I will certainly not make it hard for him."

After hanging up the phone, Mrs. Lin feels a little warm in her heart. A common saying is that a son-in-law equals half a son, and now she feels that her future son-in-law is warmer than her own son.

She says to herself: "I must let my daughter treat him well in the future. How rare it is for such a good son-in-law to help me so much!" 

At the same time, Kevin wants to contact Linda again and tell her the way to deal with this painting. Thinking she's auditioning tomorrow, forget it. Let her focus on her audition. It's not too late to tell her about this a little later.

Thinking of Linda asked him to find a house, Kevin quickly calls Assistant Chen to take him to go to the new house.

Assistant Chen drives with Kevin to a suburban villa area. This is a community developed by the Wang family. A 3-story villa is decorated, Kevin had planned to live here. But he was no married, he didn't often come here.

This villa for Kevin is with a front and back yard, high walls, and it is difficult for people outside to see the inside.

 Kevin uses remote control to open the front yard door, As the car is getting into the yard, the door closes slowly.

Kevin and Assistant Chen come to the large central living room. Looking at the neatly placed sofas, tables and various furniture items, Kevin could not help but sigh: "Well, the layout is very good."

They go into the kitchen together.

Kevin says: "This refrigerator is a little small, when will the custom four-door refrigerator arrive?"

Assistant Chen replies: "I have contacted the delivery company. It will be delivered no late than tomorrow morning."

Kevin nods: "Very good, very good, so Miss Lin's skin care products and nutrition products will have the right place to stay."

Leather remote control bed, the angle of the bed can be adjusted. It's especially convenient if eat breakfast or work in bed.

The lights and curtains can be controlled remotely. All the remote controls are concentrated on a small controller which can be placed directly on the nightstand or hung on a hidden hook at the head of the bed.

"Remember to replace the carpet in the room with the new one I bought. This one isn't soft enough."

"Yes, boss. Is there anything else I should be aware of?"

"Not for the moment. Let's wait until Miss Lin has checked it."

"Got it, boss."
