Just as Shadow left the tiger clans territory, the clan was in an uproar with their war preparations.
Outside the territory more and more wolves gathered, more than 20 white wolves stood together varying in size, age and strength.
The leader stood before them and his aura showed his strength of spirit gathering 6th stage, the nearby elder was also at the 6th stage.
There was one 5th stage, three 4th stage, three 3rd stage, and the rest were at 2nd and 1st stage within the group.
The leader stood before them as he grinned exposing his sharp teeth. "Split into four groups and invade their territory, if they are alone use that opportunity to corner and kill them! Elder you take a 4th stage wolf with you along with three of the weaker ones. You three left at 5th stage and 4th stage take a 3rd stage wolf with you with three of the weaker wolves each."
The elder looked slightly disappointed. "So he intends to use this opportunity to get back at me for argueing with him earlier, my group is clearly weaker for support. Those weaker wolves will not be much use in this fight."
Despite each groups individual thoughts they made their way the territory heading towards different locations.
As the wolves made their way, the leader stood by his son and smirked. "You shouldn't have to wait long until this is over. Then we can see what treasures the tigers have collected over the years. Oh and that young tiger you can play with however you see fit."
"Yes father I cannot wait to see their faces of despair." The little white wolf laughed.
"Now let's just wai…" All of a sudden the wolf felt a presence close to him, he did not know where it came from or how it got so close so suddenly when he was suddenly struck heavily on his spine.
A mocking voice came from the attacker. "Using four groups to attack the outer defences to make use of your numbers and weaken the enemies scattered forces. Not bad but you made a big mistake and it will cost you your life. The leader commands and gives orders but is also a pillar of support, what happens if you remove it? I am sure you should know."
The wolf could feel great pain as he was sure his spine had almost been shattered by the blow. "Who are you? There is a reason I am on my own! It is because I do not fear being attacked, now that you have sneak attacked me you will pay with your life!"
"You really don't seem to understand your own circumstances… I could have killed you just now but I felt it would be too wasteful. So I will capture you and your son for now, you will both be very useful. Why sit back and look so triumphant before the war has even begun? If you truly were their leader you would be fighting at their side, perhaps you would have been safer if you did so." Shadow mocked him again as she looked upon him with disgust, she moved quickly and began to charge towards the wounded wolf who tried to get back to his feet.
"A mere low rank beast has no right to even speak to me! You lowly creature are nothing to me, die!" The wolf pushed his body towards Shadow as he tried to bite her.
His teeth were not far from her throat until she shifted her body to the side and avoided the attack, caught by surprise at the deers timely response the wolf grew agitated.
His agitation turned to shock as he tried to slow his body, antlers on the side of the deers head collided with his chest knocking him to the ground once again.
As he tried to crawl back to his feet he heard a 'snap' and let out a howl of pain.
He looked towards the snap and saw how the deer had stamped on his leg, snapping it in half.
As she continued, she broke all four of his legs and turned towards his son. "If you do not wish to die then drag your fathers body and follow me."
The little wolf was cowering in fright upon seeing his father so skilfully dealt with, he had no choice but to follow the deers orders.
As the wolf began to pull his father he felt regret towards his actions.
He had grown up to be spoiled by his father, taught to be ruthless.
After his defeat he could not handle being humiliated, in his anger he attacked the tiger when his back was turned with the intention to kill.
To his surprise his opponents senses were keen and quickly sensed the incoming attack and countered, leaving behind a scar on his body.
He was even more enraged after a second defeat so he asked for his father for help since he was the clan leader.
After everything that had happened, it was supposed to be his chance for revenge but suddenly appeared a white deer that stood and mocked his father, beat and humiliated him.
If only that deer had not appeared, it would have been perfect.
He began to be filled with deep regret and despair as he carried his father into a secluded part of the forest.
He could hear the whimpers from his father as he lay in pain, the sounds of incoming battles nearby and felt frightened by his circumstances.
He was naive, he knew nothing about war as he had not experienced it first hand but now he was being dragged into the middle of it, this is what he wished for but now he could only regret his decisions.
