Amanda's suspicion
" Young master, I know that you don't care what others think but too much personal display of affection could hurt your image." Amanda commented. Three of them were riding back home from the Ranch.
" Is that so?"
" What's wrong with it? He only carried me around because-"
" your leg gave out. I know, but I think him carrying you around was a contributing factor why Miss Kate couldn't recover. Am I wrong?"
" W-what? That's...not true."
" I will be careful." Samuel knew most of the people that worked in the Sanctuary were recently recruited. There was a chance of them spreading rumours. He wasn't afraid of it but it was right decision to take precaution as much as possible.
They soon arrived home and he got out to open the door. Kate looked at him with a mischievous smile and remained seated after unbuckling her seatbelt.
" My knees are still weak." She mumbled.
