/"Thanks, Travis, I didn't notice that I left it,/" I said to Travis as I took my textbook from him.

As soon as my final class for the day ended, Carson had texted me, telling me that he was in the parking lot. I left the lecture hall in a hurry, not noticing that I left my textbook. Travis caught up to me halfway across the parking lot to give it to me.

/"No problem,/" Travis replied. /"I'll see you on Monday. Have a good weekend./"

/"Thanks and you too,/" I replied. Travis smiled at me brightly. /"Okay bye./" I wave at him before turning around.

/"Bye,/" Travis said as I walk away from him. I scan the parking lot quickly and I notice Carson's car near the entrance. He stood outside his car waiting for me. I smiled and waved at him as I walked in the direction in which he parked his car.
