Sandra gasped like a fish when she saw her Coal blush.
Did she heard him say 'her'? Or my ears are ringing?, she thought and rubbed the back of her ear and asked again.
"What did you say?" her curious self wanted to know whether her unfriendly brother met someone who wasn't a male species but a female...
Coal whose mind suddenly freeze when he realized what he had said. His broad smile dimmed a little as he pursed his lips into a thin line and cleared his throat.
"Ah.. W-what did you h-heard?" he asked avoiding her curious glare and tired to leave but it wasn't that easy when he had Sandra in front of him.
"Stop there brother. Don't even try to leave without answering me!" Coal steps halt and he shut his eyes cursing himself.
He knew Sandra was not someone who would let him go when he had blurt something unusual which he himself haven't done before.
