"My wife," he said, a hint of humor in his tone.
"Oh. What time is she arriving?" Lanny decided to entertain this stranger since she was bored sitting there alone.
"I don't know. I was supposed to message her but my phone went down. And now, I'm stuck here. But I'm glad I'm not alone." The guy replied, letting out a soft chuckle.
"You've been here for two hours while I've been here for one and a half. Should we just go home?" Lanny asked him hypothetically.
"I can't leave. I don't want my wife to get mad if she won't see me here."
"Hmmm. What a loyal man. Fine. Just wait for her. As for me, if that guy won't show up in an hour, I'm going to leave!"
Lanny took a deep sigh and just leaned her back on the wall, her eyes still glued on the arrival gate.
The man, on the other hand, was watching her in amusement. He couldn't help but smile as he gazed at her annoyed expression. She still looked pretty even in her grumpy mood.
