Lily's POV - 22

Aunt Geraldine insisted on taking me to work that morning. "I want to see how your work place looks like. I remember the hotel from before, but it's probably changed," she explained, and I accepted.

I didn't really care much about taking her there, but my issue was her seeimg Licien. For some reason, I didn't want anyone I knew to be connected to him. He could say anything at any time and my aunt reminded me of Catherine. I didn't want an argument.

Luckily, she stopped at the gate. "Wow, it's so big now. You're a lucky girl, dear." She leaned in, shifting on her right foot. "Met any interesting guys?"

I shook my head too eagerly. "Nope, no one. Not at all. They're all uninteresting." Liar.

Her brows furrowed. "Really? Not even one?" Her phone began to ring and she glanced at it once. I watched her expression turned sour. "Well, have a nice day then." She was gone before I could say anything.
