Chapter 65

Isla spun around to stare at the dark Alpha. 

His black eyes were ice cold, showing no feeling, but Isla could see Victoria staring at him in unabashed shock. 

Solomon looked at him with similar feelings.

  Isla simply forced herself to feel nothing.

The day just kept getting better and better.

"Well," she cleared her throat, turning to face 

Casper again.

  "I suppose that forces my hand."

  She shouldn't have been surprised, not in the slightest, but Landon's blatant announcement still came as a shock.

  She'd been hoping that a week away from her would maybe soften him. But no, it had apparently only made him dislike her more.

Casper wasn't looking at her, but at Landon. Even he seemed surprised by Landon's harsh words.

  Interesting. 

Maybe Landon hadn't always been such of a$$.

  Maybe she just brought out the worst in him.
