Chapter Five

Ophelia looked down at her phone with dissatisfaction, she needed to tail on him, find something quickly. It was already half a day now, she took a sip of mineral water and then pouted greatly.

"Mr. Ian why are you do holy? You haven't made any body contact for half a day now. You're to conscious" she harrumphed but she wouldn't give up no matter what. She looked at his schedule once more, only one event left.

The birthday Banquet

With this her confidence spiked up greatly, there was no way he wouldn't make body contact at the banquet for sure. She better go get ready, she had a long evening ahead of her.

Looking at her wardrobe, Ophelia checked out all the dresses she had after all it was a party for the rich, she needed something low-key that could meet their standard.

Her favourite dress which was a black evening gown that was off her shoulders and had a slit way up to her mid- thigh. She picked up her shoes and accessories and then she sat down to doll up herself.

She frowned a bit, this should better be worth her wasting. Once she was down she took a few sorry peeks at the picture on her wall before glancing at her reflection from the mirror.

Of course she was stunning, she picked up a fancy bag as she put the clothes she was going to change into at the party but she had to make it look like a gift. Running and stalking someone on this overly lengthy gown would be super troublesome.

She looked down at her wrist watch before smiling, it was almost time. She picked up her phone and left her apartment.

Get ready for the biggest news in City B.....

Getting down from the taxi, a little distance away from the venue, she payed her fare not minding the suspicious looks of the driver.

Like seriously they should really be minding their business!

The party was held in one of the most expensive hotels in City B, every corner smelt of wealth.Soon her enthusiasm faded when she saw the two guards outside checking for invites.

How'd she get in?

She heaved a sigh she needed to tag along with one of these men definitely not someone young.

Finally someone she imagined to be responsible caught her eye, then she approached him carefully she needed to pull this one out.

"Good evening" she greeted as she let out her radiant and alluring smile.

"Oh kind sir, I think I missed my invite and I really want to watch Ian play. This is the only chance I have before travel to Seattle" she said as she pouted cutely, she would definitely win an Oscar award for this one.

"So you propose that?" the man asked again maybe testing her

"We go in as a couple you see, I'll reward you with a kiss!" she suggested as she swung her purse at his face before pulling him to the red carpet.

The guards asked for the invite while looking suspiciously at her, she didn't look like a socialite but anyways they still had too take care of the bee lone of reporters outside the venue.

"You may!"

This was victory for her.
