Chp.4 Found my mate

I was sitting in the cafeteria when I smelled it, the scent that your mate let's out, I looked around and found a human girl standing between the cafeteria looking at me with her big dove eyes and I almost laughed.

'Really? My mate is a human?' I thought and my wolf growled at me in my head.

'Human or not still your mate, go get her!'

'No, I have to confirm first.'

I blocked my wolf for a short time and then followed her as she looked around the school, when we were in an empty area I pulled her to the side and looked down at her, black hair, a little tan skin, brown dove- no now it looks like sharp eyes, small height....she doesn't even come till my shoulder properly.

I frowned at her, "Are you sure this is the one?" I asked my wolf taking off the mental barrier and he started wagging his tail in happiness.

'Of course, it's her she's our mate.' He said happily running around my mind.

"Why her though?" I frowned even more.

'What are you complaining about? You got a beautiful mate so accept her and mark her.'

I rolled my eyes at him, 'Yaa mark her the first time we met, talk sense, Ry.'

I leaned in closer to take her scent and she smelled like orange and honey.

Well, that's my favourite scent there, 'Wow, she really is my mate....a human.' I rolled my eyes.

I felt her hand firm on my chest as she pushed me back and my eyes widened, 'How was she able to push me?'

'Maybe she works out? Or you were caught off guard?'

My wolf said and I mentally nodded before she grabbed my thumb and bent it, which was a little bit painful and then threw my hand away walking by me.

'How is she strong, I mean I was not really using my strength but she was clearly stronger than most humans.'

She stopped ahead a little bit turning to me with a frown taking in a deep breath and then frowning again went on her own way.

'Did she just...tried to smell us?'

My wolf asked and I nodded myself confused.

What is happening I'm sure she was a human, why is she behaving like that?

I went to the next class history where she sat at the end looking outside the window, I started walking there when Trevis held my hand, "Where are you going?" He asked and I nodded my head towards my mate.

"So suddenly interested in the new girl," he smiled and I smirked.

"Well what can I do my mate is interesting," I whispered leaving him in shock and walked towards her, sitting on the seat beside her.

But she didn't turn in my direction and kept looking outside the window. I trying to get her attention by knocking on her desk and she finally turned to me with a frown and a roll of eyes.

"Hey," I said with a smile and she frowned more.

"What do you want?" She asked a little annoyed and I shrugged.

"Your name."

Before she could answer the teacher came in and I turned ahead when she called a name, "Siena Knox?"

My mate raised her hand and I smiled, 'So her name is Siena.'

The history teacher nodded as she took her textbook and started writing the topic on the board.

"Hey Siena," I whispered liking her name on my tongue.

She didn't reply to me and continued doing her work.

"So where are you from?" I asked again but my question went unanswered.

'She's quite feisty for a human,' I thought and my wolf replied, 'Feisty is hot!!'

I rolled my eyes at him and looked ahead paying attention to the class asking her questions in between which of course went unanswered.

'What have I done so wrong that she is ignoring me?'  I frowned and my wolf laughed at me

'Let's see acting like a jerk to her.'

'I just wanted to confirm she is the one,' I tried to defend myself and my wolf scoffed.

'Well that was not the way of doing it, and just so you forgot you were talking out loud while conversing with me....so she probably thinks you are some freak.'

'No way,' I thought and my wolf laughed.

'Make up to my mate!!' He growled at me before blocking our bond.

I sighed and waited till the class was over.

After the class, Siena turned to me with an annoyed expression. "What do you want?" She asked.

"Well....making you interested in me?" I mumbled shrugging and she scoffed.

"Look, I would only be interested in you if you are either a werewolf or a vampire." She said and I almost laughed.

"And why is that?" I asked and she leaned down, "I'm not interested in humans.... especially freaks."

She took her belongings and stomped out of the class. I turned my head to her as she went to the next class and smiled, "Well I guess I'm lucky since I'm a werewolf."

"Heard you found your mate," Bruce asked as he kept his hand on my shoulder and I shrugged smirking.

He was a tall guy with dark skin and black hair with tattoos on his arms.

"Good for you, but...what are you doing in this class?" He asked as Trevis sat on the seat in front of me.

Trevis on the other side was the fairest among us but was also very strong, I mean he was the next in line for Beta.

"I told him to come here with me....Riley...told me to bring you to her next class."

"Well..." Bruce, Trevis and I turned to Riley sitting in the last row glaring at me with a pencil in hand and broke it in one shock, "She clearly was pissed hearing you found your mate...who is not her."

"She never was," I replied rolling my eyes.

I looked at bruce and raised my eyebrow, "But what are you doing here?" I asked and Angela came from behind hugging Bruce, "He accompanied me in this boring lecture."

Angela had soft features with straight blond hair and light brown eyes she was small in height now that I see she must be the same as Siena.

I sighed as the bell rang, "Let's go to our own class shall we?" I asked Trevis and Bruce who nodded and we went to our own class.

We were seniors in the school but sometimes sat in junior's classes.

"Hey, shall we go for a run in the woods after school?" Trevis asked and we nodded.

In the woods we went behind the trees and then shifted cane back, Trevis was a big light brown wolf, Bruce was Silver along with a bit of black, Angela she too was silver, pure silver.

Riley didn't come today but she was a light brown wolf.

I on the other hand was pure black and a little bit bigger than others. Well, Alpha traits, can't do anything about it.

"Grrrr," Trevis growled and I started running in the forest running at full speed.

We ran deep inside where there were only big trees around and went to a small lake in the woods which most people didn't know.

We stayed there for a bit, taking a dip in the cold water and playing with each other before coming out and shaking our bodies splashing water everywhere on the ground.

We ran back to from where we came and then going behind the trees got dressed quickly.

"I'm hungry," Angela whined hanging on to Bruce, "And I'm tired, why did you guys run so far?"

"Shall we go eat then?" Bruce asked smiling down at her and she nodded frantically.

"Let's go-to pizza hub," Trevis said as he texted someone on the phone.

"Sure," I shrugged.
