MIKAIL

When had she turned into a sappy teenager?

All she did was toss around in her bed thinking about him. Yes, she was not supposed to fantasize about him but what could she possibly do? It was like he had her in a chokehold and had entered her mind. Like he was a mind flayer who had entered her thoughts.

She could not seem to forget his smile and wicked smirk. The way she seemed to forget about everything else when she was around him was still astonishing.

He could not get her off his mind. She was like a disease that had infested his brain and no matter how he tried to forget about her he could not make himself do it.

She was just a little girl who knew nothing and somehow, she was all he thought about. He had been with women who were more attractive to her and yet he could not think of them. What had he gotten himself into?

He always hated this tradition because it made it seem like there were in the stone age period. Why did someone only have to be with the person who was chosen for him?

It so's not like he did not find her attractive or thought that she was not good enough for him. The problem was that he didn't think he was good enough for her.

She was this fragile being who had not yet even been given the chance to go out to the world and then there was him who had done everything mankind could do.

He was afraid that he could not be the man that she wanted. His mother told him that when he was going to marry he should marry for love. He did not feel that about him and did not know if he was going to.

Did he find her attractive? Very much so but life and marriages were more than just sex. That was not the only thing that they had to offer. He wanted her to finish her education and not let anything stand in her way. If they got married a lot of things were going to change and she was going to be on the bad end.

As she lay in bed fantasizing about him she did not know how things were going to be. She had a crush on her and that was that. Marriage was a different thing that she was not thinking about.

Had someone told her everything about herself then at least she would have had a clue. She would have been prepared her whole childhood for this moment. Her fate lay in her choices and she had to choose the right.

That was if she even had the chance to choose. Mates were something that was taken seriously and if someone did not marry their mate they fought with the lead alpha. It was non-negotiable.

Aries as she had named him wondered what would be if he decided not to be mated to her. He had heard tales of the werewolf that came to punish people for their wrongdoings.

He had never seen him and often wondered if it was true. Maybe it was just a myth but no one had dared to do otherwise. He was feared. He had heard that no one survived a battle with him.

The howling in a distance frightened her and she wondered what animal was making that sound. Surprisingly enough those howls put her to sleep.

She was the type of person to toss in bed for hours to go look for sleep but for the first time in months she had done to sleep just like a baby. The howls continued into the dead of the night and for someone who knew what it was, they would say that something was up.

___________

The chirping of birds some her up.

She looked at her phone and it was almost ten am. She had never slept in this late. For the first time, she did not take up tired. Her body had given itself full rest.

She got off the bed and made her way to the window. She pulled the draws and light came swarming in. Views like this we're worth dying for. She would give anything to wake up line this every morning but the vacation was coming to an end.

She has not noticed how empty the place was. It was like it was just hollow. The thing that made it stand out was the mansion that stood there. It was just trees and a massive piece of land filled with nothing but grass.

The view inside the compound was breathtaking. It was kind that they occupied half the and the area. There was even a forest that was a waste that she had not noticed before.

The trees were thick even from where she was she could not see to the ground. The garden looked marvelous. If one loomed at the property he would say that the last of the house liked keeping things clean.

She opened the window to let the fresh air in. It was something that she had already been accustomed to. She made her bed and went to the bathroom to take her shower.

As she twisted the shower knob she hoped that they were not d fashioned when it came to showering. A lot of people believed that a cold shower made someone feel better or relieved and she was not in for that crap.

The shower had made her feel good and she was ready to start the day. Given that it was her last day there she was going to make good use of it. She had things that she was determined to do.

The first thing was to go and check out the forest and breathe. She needed to go somewhere where she was alone and scream. Get rid of all the anger she had stored inside.

As she passed by Hade's room she peeped inside to see if he was there but it was empty. It was like no one had slept in that room.

She made no her mi d that maybe he had women up earlier than her and was already down for breakfast. She could hear some banter coming from the dining room and could not wait to see his face first.

The smile on her face was wiped when he reached there and he was nowhere in sight. She had taken a long shower and wore her favorite yoga pants just for nothing.

There was someone else on the table that morning that she had not met before. He looked to be in his late fifties by just looming at his face. His physique though was astonishing. She took a seat down next to Enzo and greeted them.

"Good morning", she says smiling.

" Morning Keira", said Enzo's father.

She liked around the tea to see what was prepared and everything was her favorite. There was just something about having people doing your chores and making her feel like a princess. That was a luxury that she was so grateful to her parents for providing it.

"You look just like your mother", said the man who dye had not yet been introduced to.

She turned all her attention and waited for him to say it again. Maybe she had just heard the wrong this or they were just voices in her head.

" Am sorry who are you?", she asked him as she bit her sausage.

"Am sorry we haven't been introduced, am Mikail your father", he said smiling.
