Just before we could leave the garage however Benedito's phone rang and he had taken a minute to answer it. Vitor and I leaned against his Audi as we watched him pace up and down. By his blank facial expression I knew the call was not good as I saw his shoulders tense second by second. 

A minute later he ended the call and shoved his phone into his pocket before he walked back to us. 

"It seems I won't be able to join you. An emergency came up that I have to attend to," he sighed. 

"Is everything alright?" I frowned as I stood up straighter. 

"Just one of the programmings for a security feature crashed so we have to attend to it quickly," he rested his forehead against mine. 

"Do you need any help?" Vitor offered. 

"No it's all good, I'll handle it. Go have fun meu coração, I'll be working here so I'll be right here when you're done," he gently smiled as I nodded. 

I gave him a kiss, "I love you."
