"It's been a week." Hal said and I nod. I've spent the week researching and being as close I could be to Hal. He had called and texted me, he checked up on me serval times and always asked if I needed something. It's been a week of asking myself if this was something I wanted, if this lifestyle was what I wanted.

"I have watched a couple videos. I've read articles and asked questions on chat rooms." I said, my cheeks heating up as I remembered the questioned I had asked on Quora and the amount of response I had received.

"And what do you think? What do you want to do?" Hal asked.

We were in a private room above one of the five star restaurants, the lights were a soft rose gold and Hal was dressed in a dark suit with a black shirt, his sunglasses sitting on the table even though the sky was dark out.

He had taken me here right after work so I was dressed in a soft pink sweater, jeans and my old vans. I had felt self conscious when I had stepped into the restaurant but Hal had pulled me close to him and had said...

"You are the most gorgeous boy in this room."

And that. That made me feel a thousand times better. He had meant it in a genuine way. I looked at the man sitting in front of me, he wasn't as closed off as he looked in the papers. He looked open, like I could gauge his reaction.

"I want to try this."

Hal's eyes widen for a bit and he looked... happy. Relieved. It made my heartbeat pick up as I stare at him.

"I don't know everything about this lifestyle but it is really something I'm interested in. You're going to have to show me the ropes."

"I can send you a sample of a contract and you can select things you like and things you don't like, then we can negotiate." Hal said, his smile big. And it made me so happy that I made him that happy. There was this feeling of pride blooming in me.

He reached out and takes my hand in his. "Thank you for choosing me."

"Thank you for taking care of me this week."

"I'll do that and lots more everyday, for as long as you'll want me." Came Hal's reply and I nod. We talk for a few more minutes before we were interrupted. Hal tells the person to come in, his hand never leaving mine as the waitress comes in and placed the food on our table.

I had ordered a medium rare steak with vegetable salad on the side while Hal had ordered crabs for himself. I had stuck out my tongue when he had placed his order but now that I could see it and I could smell it. Man, does it smell good. I wanted to taste it.

Once my food was placed in front of me, Hal picks it up and placed it in front of him and begins to cut my steak into smaller pieces. I smile softly as I watched him.

"Here you go, darling."

"Thank you." I said as I grab my fork. "How was work today?" I asked him before taking a bite of my food.

"It was alright. I spent the day with Jared and we had lunch with his sub, Calum." Hal replied as he dug into his food. Conversation was short between us as we ate, Hal kept watching to make sure I was eating well and drinking the right amount of wine.

"Can you tell me more about you? I don't want to believe what the internet says about you." I told him. While I had been doing a background check on him on the Internet, all these various news articles popped up about him being a playboy and how he ran away with an entire German ballet one time last year. I also didn't want to believe what Wikipedia had to say. I wanted him to tell me himself.

Hal shot me one of his private smiles, smiles that I had been receiving more and more everyday and every time. "You know my name." He said and I find my self giggling as I nod.

"I'm twenty seven and I run Janvier Inc. I started the business with my buddy Jared. I knew it was going to be successful but I didn't think it would be this big. I was raised by my dad, my mum walked out on us when I was ten."

"Oh my. I'm sorry." I said, reaching for his hand again. We had let go when we had to eat.

"It's alright. It wasn't you who walked out and I'm fine with it now." Hal said with a shrug. "Back then I didn't understand why she'd leave us, so I spent time calling her until one day she picked and told me that she'd come back when my dad and I had money."

"She said that to you?" I gasped. That was horrible. What kind of mother said that to her child?

"She did. We were so poor, so my dad had to take up extra jobs, even I too at ten had to get a job. I babysat people's cats. It was hard but I grew up with an idea in my mind and that's how I created Janvier inc."

"It must have been hard."

There were times where I forget I'm not the only one who has been through hell. I also know that there were times I felt like I was the only person suffering in the world but now that I'm here, talking with Hal who has opened up and told me a little about himself, It makes me sad. I get up from my chair and timidly made my way to him.

I gnawed on my bottom lip as I sit myself on his lap and wrap my hands around his shoulder, my head resting against his as I hug him.

"You are too sweet." Hal said as he wraps a hand around my waist.

"You are strong and happy now." I said in response. I still had a lot of questions to ask but I'll take my time and ask them. Hal had been patient and honest with me and I had the feeling that he'd tell me the answers to whatever I ask.

This wasn't my first time sitting on a man's lap but it was my first time sitting on Hal's. He held me like I was his. There was another knock to the door and I move to stand but Hal holds me down by my waist.

"You don't have to be shy. It's just us."

"But the waitress-"

"Won't say anything unless she wants to lose her job." Hal replies. "Hey, look at me." He said and I do. "You're safe. We are fine. No one is going to spread anything about you or take pictures of you or us while we're in this room. You can sit on my lap for as long as you'd like."

"Even through dessert?" I asked, peeking at him through my lashes.

He closes the distance between our lips and give me a slow, chaste kiss that made me want more. When he pulled back he says. "For as long as you'd like, baby."

The waitress doesn't say a word as she pushed a small trolley in. She placed our used plates at the bottom and kept the little bowls of gelato on the table instead. I excitedly reach for my bowl and the little spoon.

I, immediately, take a spoonful of my caramel cookie crunch gelato. When Hal had ordered this for me, I thought it'd taste good but this was... there were no words to describe this.

"Judging by your face, I'd say you like it."

"I do. Thank you, daddy." It just slips out like it was natural. This time I didn't feel embarrassed, no, I felt happy and pleased. I took a spoonful of gelato and raised it to Hal's mouth.

He hummed after he swallows and smiles at me. "It's good." He said and I beam. I look away from my bowl to his and stared at his own. Why was it dark? What flavor had he gotten?

"What flavor is that?"

"It's black cherry, baby. Would you like to taste it?" He asked. I stare at his bowl a bit longer before nodding. "Use your words."

"Yes, please."

Hal took a spoon of his gelato and raised it to my lips. Once I taste the ice cream, I scrunch up my nose. I didn't like the taste. It was the name of the flavor that intrigued me and I forced myself to swallow it.

Hal had an amused expression on his face and he was chuckling a bit. I pout and stick a sooonful of my gelato in my mouth to chase away he horrid taste of the black cherry.

"I'm sure it wasn't that bad, darling."

"It tasted bad. Why would you pick that?" I asked him as I take another spoonful.

"Because I like black cherry." Was his simple reply. I huff and shake my head at him. The hand he had on my waist squeezed a bit and I lean closer.

"Would you like another spoon from mine?"

"It's alright. Finish up your gelato, it's getting late and I want you in bed on time." Hal said. I had chosen eleven o'clock as my bed time. It meshed perfectly well with my adult and little time.

I nod an affirmative and finished the rest of my ridiculously good gelato while he eats his gooey one. Once I was done, I wiped my mouth with one of the napkins and took a small sip of water.

"Come on." Hal said, tapping my side a bit. I got off his lap and stood, stretching my legs a bit with a satisfied smile on my face. It's been a while since I'd eaten this much and it felt so good.

He took my hand in his and led me out of the room. He made sure I was right beside him as we walked out, him to my left to block out curious looks that were thrown in our direction. The valet pulls his car to the front and like always, Hal opens my door for me and like always he buckled me in.

"Thank you."

"You're welcome, baby." He said in response. He quickly makes his way over to the driver's seat and got in. I asked if I could listen to some music and he connects his phone to the car and Fallin by Alicia Keys comes on. At least that's what the name on the small screen says. I tried humming along to the song.

"You can look through my songs and select the one you like." Hal said when he pulled at a stop light. I happily grabbed his phone and scrolled through his songs and selected The Greatest Show. I had watched The Greatest Showman last year and had fallen in love with the songs.

We sang along as he drove me home, one song changing to the other, all of them from the original soundtrack of the movie. When he pulled to the front of my building, the songs go off and he gets down from the car. I read that most Daddys liked to do this for their little. It was their way of taking care of them and their way of saying they care and want to take care of you. Plus it made me happy.

Once I got out of the car, Hal takes my hand in his and places a small box in my palm.

"Thank you for saying yes. Thank you for accepting to be my little." Hal said and I nod, my cheeks beating up as the wind played with my hair. "This is a little something for you."

"Thank you."

"Don't open it until you are inside."

"Yes daddy."

"Good boy." Hal pressed a kiss to my temple and a chaste one to my lips before pulling back to say. "Have a good night, darling."

"You too, daddy." I said to him. I give him a little wave, then walked up to my building. Immediately I got in, I pulled open the small box and silently gasped at what was in it. It was a simple diamond cuff band with the words baby boy inscribed inside and little diamond swirls running through the top.

I quickly took it to my room, sat on my bed and slid it onto my wrist. It was so pretty and I could imagine Hal looking through rows and rows of bracelets to find this. I took out my phone and sent him a text.

Me: thank you so much for the bracelet. It's beautiful.

Hal: I tried looking for something simple and sweet like you. I'm glad you like it, baby boy.
