Chapter 2 ( Compromising Situations

Beep beep! The sound came from the machines surrounding an old woman. She was going through the pictures scattered over her laps that was under a blanket. She grinned and it got even wider and she eventually laughed out loud " This arrogant boy has met his match, he looks really frustrated"

She took up another picture that clearly shows Isabella complete look and couldn't help but laugh out loudly, then squinted her owl like eyes as if to scan the girl's soul " hmm what an interesting young girl..... My efforts are surely not in vain now" age nodded as she at the various machines and tubes connected to her body.

A few hours earlier...................

" What do you mean you won't go, do you want me to die before seeing my great grandchildren?"

Luca's lips twitched at the old woman's word but he knew better not to refute her.

" What do you mean by being silent, so you really wish for me to die so young without great grandchildren ...... You are such an ungrateful child, I carried you and took care of you in this arms "

Old madam Grey shook her wrinkled arms with force.

And like that she started narrating how she took care of him right from a year old, the workers and the butlers carried on their work pretending to be deaf. They were used to the old woman narration and could recite the story by heart.

" I'm not going Nana " Luca replied sternly cutting off her long story, whenever he called her " Nana" sge knew he wasn't going to back down. He stared at his watch, after all he had to be in a board meeting in the next 5 minutes.

He noticed the eery silence and glanced at the old woman and saw her big eyes wide open as her pointed finger trembled " you ...you"

" Calm .... " She had fainted before he could complete his sentence.

His heart skipped a beat as he cradled her in his arm, he was always scared when she faints and yet he was the cause this time.His hand trembled with fear and guilt which was always the other expression he showed apart from his aloof expression. It was a real surprise that the cold CEO could hold such a gaze. But they all knew that thus old woman was his only weakness

" CALL THE DOCTOR" he roared even when he saw the butler reach for the telephone and some maids rushed over to help the old madam.

This was what he thought about as he ate the

meal Isabella ordered, totally Ignoring her efforts to disgust him. He repeated the scene when his grandmother collapsed over and over in his mind and was able to finish his meal without puking.

So when he brought up the blind date topic again Isabella just stared at him without blinking.

He calmly wiped his long slender fingers clean. " I guess you're also done with your meal? " He asked as his eyes skimmed through the jumbled up meals on her side.

It was obvious she tried so hard to look uncultured but he saw how neatly she mixed up the food while occasionally dropping the food on the table . Without waiting for her reply he called the waitress to clean up their table .

While the waitress was busy cleaning up, they had a stare down contest.

" You don't need to try so hard, all these facade doesn't faze me " he stared at her from head to toe after the waitress was done cleaning.

Isabella had an embarrassed and annoyed look as she stares at him with her piercing black eyes.

It was the brightest pair of black iris Luca has ever seen, for a moment he felt captivated and was a little curious of how she would really look like when she wasn't dresses so crudely.

Those pair of beautiful eyes and her plump lips were evidence that she wasn't ugly.

She sighed and crossed her legs and straightened her back. She slowly picked up a tissue and wiped away lipstick smudge. She took her time before giving him a polite small " nice to meet you Mr Gray" this time her voice came out melodiously.
