Secrets unveiled

After defeating the mercenary, Kakashi made his way to the local police headquarters, escorting the captured mercenary. Upon seeing the criminal he had brought, everyone in the offfice fell silent. And then, a huge round of applause and cheers filled the room. It turned out that the criminal he had apprehended was one of the most notorious and heavily researched individuals in the shinobi world. His name was Shadow, a leader of an organization who claims to be fighting evils that goes far beyond the shinobi world, but in reality, all they're doing, is causing harm and chaos everywhere they go. Kakashi's actions had dealt a significant blow to the criminal networks and ensured the safety of many lives. He thanked everyone as they praised him, making a side note in his mind to learn more about this organization.

With the mercenary safely handed over, Kakashi's thoughts turned to retrieving Hiroshi from Sasuke's house. He made his way there, and as he arrived, he barely knocked and the door opened. Sarada and Hiroshi was engaged in an energetic game of tag. Upon seeing this, a bright smile formed under Kakashi's mask. He had lost everything, his father, his sensei / father figure, and his best friends. And still, he remained on the good side, protecting the village at all cost. He even died to protect others, so in this heartfelt moment he thought perhaps this, this was his reward, for being virtuous despite the harsh reality he endured. He closed his eyes as his heart filled with joy and relief.

Lost in the moment, Kakashi didn't initially notice who opened the door, only then he realized it was Sasuke. The surprise and delight on his face were evident as he exclaimed, "Sasuke! It's been a while. How's your mission going?"

"Kakashi." He smiled and answered, "it's alright." Kakashi sighed, "Alright huh?" To him, just a glance at Sasuke, and he could tell It was obviously not alright. But before he could ask more about it, Sasuke's own curiosity piqued, "Kakashi, who is this kid?" He asked, with an analyzing glare almost as if to tear the truth from Kakashi. But the latter gazed all around the house as if to say that this wasn't the ideal place to talk. Sasuke immediately understanding Kakashi's message, nodded to let him know that he understood. Then Kakashi simply asked, "Where?" Basically asking to go to a place where the walls don't hear and the windows don't peak.

"There," Sasuke answered, easily understanding his former sensei. He added, "Actually, I'm headed there myself. The thing I was worried about… No… I have something urgent to discuss."

The unspoken trust and understanding between them were palpable. With a nod, Kakashi took Hiroshi and bid them all farewell. As he departed, Sasuke couldn't shake the strange feeling that washed over him. This kid, Something was different about him, but he chose to trust Kakashi's judgment, dismissing his instinctual curiosity.

On their way back home, Kakashi and Hiroshi experienced pure delight. They had a blast together, Kakashi bought him some ice cream, and they shared some funny stories, They even stopped to play Ludo with an old geezer. These precious moments became cherished memories that would stay with them forever. As they walked home, Kakashi's heart was filled with joy, his face looked like that of a puppy who just got his favorite meal. He carried Hiroshi on his back, savoring every single second of their time together.

Upon reaching their home, Kakashi gently knocked on the door. It swung open, and Hanara jumped in Kakashi's arms, hugging them both as tight as she could. It was way past the time Kakashi was supposed to come back with Hiroshi, and she was worried something had happened to them. So Kakashi patted her head and reassured her, "It's okay, everything is fine."

But even though she was this worried, and it was already dark, Kakashi had to leave again, and when he told her that, she clenched her fist and gritted her teeth. "You can go, I don't care." She did care, but she didn't want to admit, that perhaps she was more than worried about him.

"Don't worry, I'm really strong, I'll be fine." Kakashi answered oblivious to how she feels. It's not that she didn't want him to go out because he might get hurt, but rather, she wanted him to stay home a bit more, so that they'd spend some time together. Kakashi then left the house, as Hanara led their son inside, her eyes shining with gratitude as she reminded Hiroshi that it was time for dinner.

Meanwhile, Kakashi headed towards the Hokage's bureau, where he was greeted with utmost respect and reverence. The officials addressed him as "Lord 6th," acknowledging his status as one of the village's best leaders. He was running out of original ways to thank and accept their praise as he thought to himself "That's why I prefer to get in through the windows."

He then knocked on the door of the Hokage's bureau, the door slid open on it's own, it was barely pushed, as he entered, he was met with the sight of Naruto sitting behind the desk, Shikamaru going over piles of documents in a corner, and Sasuke perched on the edge of the desk.

Warm smiles lit up their faces upon seeing Kakashi. "Kakashi sensei!" Naruto exclaimed, "It's been a while you haven't come here, how's it going?" They greeted each other warmly, however, the matters they had to discuss, was urgent.

So with no time for preambles, Kakashi dove straight into the heart of the matter, his tone serious and commanding. "What I'm about to tell you is top secret. We cannot let anyone else know, not even your wives," he emphasized, his words carrying weight and significance.

They all nodded. Naruto, ever the emotional one, listened intently, his eyes wide with astonishment. Shikamaru, the strategic thinker, leaned in, absorbing every detail with an analytical focus. Sasuke, always skeptical, quirked an eyebrow, his face tinged with skepticism, "Go on, Kakashi."

"I have a son."

Silence filled the room, Naruto's jaw dropped, Shikamaru's eyebrows rose, and Sasuke's furrowed. Everyone was shocked speechless at the news, but before any question comes flying at him, Kakashi continued. He told them everything, from Hanara's decision to keep Hiroshi a secret, the threats to Hiroshi's safety which led to Hanara seeking his help and telling him the truth, all the way to the tests conducted by Tsunade, confirming Hiroshi as his son. He even explained Hiroshi's chakra system being different from everyone's. Although he left out the part about him having both the Byakugan and the Sharingan.

"He possesses immense potential and talent, but his chakra works differently. As for his strength, he's exceptional, even more so than I was at his age," Kakashi added, ensuring his comrades understood the gravity of Hiroshi's abilities.

Naruto's eyes brimmed with a mix of emotions, pride, and, concern battling within him. Shikamaru's mind raced, already calculating the implications and potential approacches. Sasuke, with his keen perception, weighed Kakashi's words, his skepticism giving way to a newfound curiosity.

"If he has no tenketsu, then how does he use jutsus, wouldn't that be impossible?" Sasuke asked.

"I thought so too, but when I asked him about it, he told me instead of using hand signs to perform his jutsus, he just picture what he wanted to make, in his head, and he does it. Most of the time, succeeding on the first try." Kakashi replied, as he laid back in his chair, with both hands behind his back.

"Is that even Ninjutsu then?" Shikamaru asked.

"Well, when I'm hit by his attacks, It feels more like senjutsu, but it's not quite that." Kakashi answered, as he recalls his last training session with Hiroshi.

"Something like senjutsu? He's a genius then, just like you, Kakashi sensei!" Naruto exclaimed, completely oblivious off the dangers this represents. "Well, I am really happy for you Kakashi sensei, should we celebrate this with a party!?"

Seeing Naruto's excitement, Kakashi reminded him that this is supposed to stay secret, as such news would cause a lot of talk around the village, and it would reveal Hiroshi's location.

Everyone had their own questions, Kakashi proceeded to answer some, some of them, he himself didn't know the answer to. After a while, and all the questions, it was time to get to a much more serious matter. Sasuke's mission.

It's been years since Sasuke went on a mission to search every corner of the world, to find any possible threat to the Shinobi world, and eradicate them before they get close. And by the looks of it, he had found something. Kakashi then asked about it, "Sasuke, what did you find out there?" He said, causing everyone's attention to shift towards Sasuke.

Sasuke took a deep breath, and then he said: "Kaguya Otsutsuki, was probably... just the beginning."
