So the wives are those who are considered officially married in the eyes of many people, the mates are the more animalistic ones who marked each other, the lovers are those who are satisfied with simply loving each other and not needing any sort of grand declaration, and Gabriel is still very much 'pure' as of now so Girlfriend until further notice.
