Chapter 10

The next morning woke up with Akeno.

She was snuggling at me like a koala, and I held her by her waist.

We didn't do the deed last night, we just ate together, watched a movie, and slept at my house.

Albeit naked, but still just slept together.

We just kissed and cuddled.

The only problem which occurred last night was the interaction of Akeno with the fallen angels.

When I woke up I found Akeno, I just decided to stay in bed as well.

And held her close.

After a few minutes passed, she started moving and yawned then looked towards me with confusion filling her face, to which I kissed her, and then she remembered what we did last night, and this time she kissed me.

Soon it was time to go to school so I said,

"You can use my bathroom and bring your uniform through magic, and I will use the other one.

Okay?"

"Why don't you join me?"

"Well don't mind if I do."

Saying that I left for the bathroom with her, and turned the water in the bathtub open while waiting for it to be filled.

While I was waiting I felt two soft moulds pressed on my back.

I looked behind to find Akeno.

"Can't wait?"

And she responded by just kissing my back.

Then we bathed, with her sitting on my lap, and her back pressed to my chest.

After bathing we changed and had breakfast, while she was still avoiding fallen angels.

We reached the school in my car with her holding my hand through the whole ride.

How lewd, someone please censor it.

Anyway when she and I got out of the car, all the bays were gawking at the scene and then looked towards me with eyes as if I killed their family.

Then we were received by Sona and Tsubaki who were looking at us with raised eyebrows.

I went near Sona and whispered in her ears,

"Don't worry I haven't forgotten you."

And Akeno and I separated, and I went to my classroom and it was like any other day.

After classes were over I went to the ORC building and made my way over to Rias to talk about Asia.

Honestly, I don't like her. I don't know why I just don't.

So I entered the ORC to find only Koneko there.

"Where are the rest?"

I asked Koneko.

"Akeno-san and Kiba-san are doing their duties and President is taking a shower."

"So it's just you and me."

She nodded.

I sat on the sofa beside her and asked her,

"What are you doing?"

"Nothing."

She replied monotonously.

Well, that's that.

There was an awkward silence between us which I decided to break.

"So what do you like to do in your free time?"

"Nothing."

"*sighs* Do you like sweets?"

For which she showed an expression for the first time.

It was then Rias came out of the bathroom with a towel draped around her, and she looked towards me and flashed a smile.

"What are you doing here?"

"To talk to you about your newest member of your peerage."

Hearing this her face brightened and she told me to wait while she changed her clothes.

And after wearing her uniform she took her seat and said,

"Now please continue."

"Well nothing much, her name is Asia Argento, and is a sister.

She is the holder of Sacred Gear [TWILIGHT HEALING] and she is the girl who I saved."

"Then why didn't you recruit her?"

"Well no special reason, I mean the members of my peerage are those who harmed her so she won't fit right in."

"Hmm…. Okay, when are we meeting?"

"Well I will ask her, and you have to convince her to join your peerage, in that I won't help."

"Okay, understandable."

After saying this her face looked as if she was in worry.

"What happened?

You look troubled."

"Well, when I was little my father arranged my marriage with the son of his friend.

But I don't want to marry him, but he doesn't listen.

So we made a deal that I will marry him after my education in human life, but his father keeps on bringing the date closer and pestering my father.

I keep denying it, but he selected a date for me to meet Riser."

In the end, she ended up crying, and Koneko appeared beside me with a glass of water which I gave to her and slowly made her drink, patting her back all through this.

"Don't worry, you won't be with someone else other than me."

"Bu-but how, even though you are strong, Riser has a phoenix bloodline, he can regenerate all your attacks?"

If I am being honest, I didn't plan to do what I am going to do now, but seeing her cry makes me want to comfort her.

No matter how bratty she is, she isn't one to me.

Taking a deep breath, I summoned my [BOOSTED GEAR].

When it was presented, Rias stopped crying and looked towards me with a surprised face.

"Even now still will I lose?"

I asked with a loving smile, seeing that she wrapped her arms around me and started bawling her eyes out on my chest while I patted her.

And as for Koneko, she looked as if she wanted to be anywhere but here.

It ended with me calming Rias down and leaving her in Koneko's care.

I made my way to my car and went to my home.

Upon reaching there, I called all the fallen angels.

"So why did you call us?"

"Well to ask several questions.

First of all, I want you to bring me holy water, in large amounts, and if you cannot bring them yourself call someone who can, but no terrorizing humans or devils here for that matter.

From now on you represent me, so you will have to act accordingly.

Secondly, I want other to write and compile a list of all the holy spells that can be learned by humans and their requirements.

And I want other to bring large amounts of blessed weapons, anything that can harm a devil I want it.

Also, do so properly, money won't be an issue. But do it discretely.

The deadline is 2 weeks and 3 days from now.

And don't worry you will be paid for it.

Now off you go."

See the thing is I am confident that I can kill Riser, what I want to do is send a message to the underworld, especially those old fools of the council, to not ever touch what's mine.

I mean even if I interrupt Rias' marriage, they will marry her off to someone else.

How many times would I have to do it?

Also, even if I managed to convince their family to marry me then that council will still interfere.

So, through Riser, I will send them a message covered in phenex blood, along with tears and scream.

'Stick out your as* where it doesn't belong and this will be you.'
