High School Again: The President's Secret Lady Boss

“With every hour, day, and month I wait, I love you more.” Here is where the boss submits and the lady dominates. --- "A CEO hitting on a high school girl? Oh, how scandalous, Sir~” She is a sly teenager who likes to tease adults, use blackmail and ruin dates. But beneath that playful facade, she was once a naive heiress who was abused, mocked and neglected. Forced in a loveless marriage, she became even more miserable. For all her life, she tried to be perfect to gain acceptance, but in the end, nobody truly cared for her. Now that she went back in time after dying in the hands of her family, she decided to claim what was rightfully hers. "Hitting on you? Excuse me, who're you again? I don't think any girl would just ruin my date for no good reason – highschooler or not. That's unless you're actually a fan," was what her flirt of a future husband once said in this second life of hers. Though a jerk, this hot stuff has his uses other than being attractive. She needed him to get back on those who wronged her no matter how indifferent he was to her before. This time around, she will take her turn to piss people off while smiling all sweetly. With that in mind, she leaned closer to him and smiled as sweetly as she just imagined, making him drop his smug smirk and raise his brows in surprise. "I'm not your fan – I'm your future wife, you douchebag." --- Winter used to live with her adoptive older brother until her biological uncle and adoptive sister found her. She was a long-lost heiress whose deceased parents turned out to be an affluent and wealthy couple. While people would think that she was very fortunate, all this really did to her was take her freedom away. A whole new identity had been forced on her ever since. Meek and docile yet soft-hearted and hardworking – that she became. Trapped in expectations, Winter worked herself to death in order to be deserving of her position as the successor. Pressured by her family, she had to follow everything they said. Deprived of the freedom to decide, she was forced to marry someone who was older than her by seven years – and worse, a flirt of all things. Winter worked very hard but only to lose everything after her adoptive sister took the spotlight away. Everyone claimed her to be incapable of being the next head of their family business, thus making the adopted daughter the successor instead. Her uncle only used her in the end. This was what they were aiming for all along – to manipulate her and steal her inheritances before throwing her out entirely. Never did Winter expect that the first and last person who would at least pay attention to her at her worst was her husband, Marcellus. Flirtatious and playful yet detached and secretive – that he was. Devilishly handsome, head of a business empire, known for many notable attainments, and chased by beauties – Marcellus is a man of perfection. Not once did he treat Winter like a wife, though. She was nothing to him, and so was he to her. But before she met her eventual demise, he was the only person who tried to help her. Yet it was much too late. The next time they met again would be seven years back in time – where they would be a scheming duo of a bossy high school girl and a submissive conglomerate president. --- [Warning: Mature Content] (Cover Photo Not Mine: Credits to the original artist) - Follow me on Instagram (acieetin) - DM me on Discord (Aciee#1841)

From Above

After much persuasion from Claude, it did not take Marcellus another thought to eventually come up with the decision to go to wherever Winter was at the moment.

It was a right choice to tell him about this problem. He made him realize that he was only stalling around by remaining suspicious of her - he would never be able to get rid of his doubts if he were to put his distance as he was suspicious. That being said, he should not take her or anything she will say for granted.

She might even turn into something priceless to him.

"President, there's a message..." Claude suddenly chimed in with his cellphone in hand, stealing back his attention.

"It's from the bodyguard you assigned to watch over Ms. Agreste. He's given their current location, and he's asking you to come at once."

"Yeah, yeah. I'm coming," Marcellus replied in a dismissive manner.

"You probably misunderstood the tone of the message, Sir. He is kind of implying that the situation is out of their hand at this point."

"What do you mean?"

"Something might have gone unexpected."

Those words alone had brought up an unsettling premonition.

Then again, Winter herself said that her knowledge about the incident was in fragments - she was not aware of the whole story. It was only then did Marcellus realize that dealing with an accident that had a possibility of happening was not a light matter. Even if she knows the future, she can't completely control the present.

With those in mind, he started preparing to leave in a haste.

"Tell her bodyguard to never lose sight of her. Never let her do anything rash either. I'm on my way," Marcellus told Claude for the last time before rushing out of his office.

---

It took hours.

Finding her target took hours - and Winter was not at all expecting where she would end up at.

Contrary to what Violet told Marcellus on the phone when he called her earlier, she was neither in her home nor was she staying put as she was told. If Winter did not have a last-minute remembrance of a specific detail about the accident, she would not suspect that. Worst of all, she would not make it in time.

Apparently, the location of the accident was at the headquarters of her family's company, the Miller Holdings.

'As far as I recall, it has something to do with her falling from above or something...' she remembered as she made her way there.

'Does that mean she'll be coming from one of those floors? Which one exactly?'

Winter did not need to search any longer after she arrived there, though.

The answer she was seeking had shown itself up in front of her - all the way from above, more particularly. Right then, in utter shock and befuddlement, she could only stand still right before the imposing building of the headquarters. She almost thought that she was just seeing things.

It just happened that Violet was standing on the edge of a balcony at a certain floor, looking like she was about to throw herself off of there in any given second.

"W-W-What...?" Winter breathed out in thorough disorientation, paling at the sight.

"W-Why...? W-What is she...? Why would she be at such a dangerous place?"

There is no sign of moving from her target - she seems out of it. She only continues staring down on the far-off ground that she will be landing on. It's not that she thinks that trying to catch her attention from below will work, especially since no one else but her has noticed her up there.

Winter is the only one who can see Violet at that time - and at that appalling state, even.

It's as she expected. Something is bound to go wrong. She did not know what really happened, which was why she tried to prepare herself for a twist. A probable suicide attempt is not part of her expectations, though.

Even then, Winter does not hesitate to go up there and stop Violet before she can do what she presumed she is going to do.
