Chapter 25. Arrogant and sharp tongued

Everyone's curious gaze shifted to him for not knowing his reason of visit.

This is the opening ceremony of freshmen and he is a sophomore a.k.a a second year student. Only volunteers from second year and third year could be expected to be seen during the ceremony and his sudden visit surely created quite an uproar.

His eyes swiftly roamed around the room which only halted after seeing familiar backs. 

" It must be her, " Nolan exclaimed excitedly as he saw Roselia. However, his stoic face didn't reveal any of his excitement nor his interest in meeting her again.

It's not their first time meeting. He searched for her every where and here she was. Right under his nose.

Now thinking about it Nolan criticized himself for being such an idiot of not thinking about that possibility of her studying in High academy.

" Is it a coincidence. Why does it sound like those cliche dramas where the female lead will be working under the male leads company but the male lead doesn't notice her till halfway? Well, I must be considering myself lucky to meet her soon enough. Finally I can take some break. I think I should be grateful to God for allowing us to meet soon. I am so happy, " Nolan gushed tears of happiness inward realising this.

Hardwork sure pays off, but he knew. He still got a long way to go. However, before that he should talk to her. Know about her.

How should he approach her?

What type of boys does she like?

Will she like talkative type?

Or the cute and adorable type since it's the new trend?

Should he have dressed better and looked more handsome?

As this thought striked Nolan, he couldn't help but get on fumes at those old ogres who gave him last minute tasks to complete.

In a rush to meet her, he immediately came to meet her after completion of his works not thinking about the way he presented himself in front of others.

He was tired. Even though he isn't a human that doesn't conceal the fact that overexerting himself doesn't affect his health. However, now that he was facing her and she was near him, he couldn't stop being nervous.

Beside Roselia was Islinda. He already asked someone to investigate Roselia's background and checked her profile in HIGH academy. He also checked her roommate and to his surprise, her roommate is Islinda. He already knew Islinda.

She was his best friend's sister and both share a great sibling bond compared to their older sister.

Nolan too, like Islinda for her good personality. She is always cheerful and willful, but her willful nature never harmed others. She is thoughtful and playful too and always fools around pranking others. She is  a very forward person and only talks to those whom she like.

Looking at her happily conversing with Roselia, Nolan could guess she sure made an impressive impresion of herself to Islinda for Islinda to be so friendly to her from just few days of meeting.

Even though most of the Hall had a commotion, these two girls were busy talking to themselves, not at all noticing his presence and his approach towards them.

Listening to Manves speech, Roselia had many doubts and she wanted clarification. What three buildings? Why weren't they allowed to other classes? What will they teach to those accelerated course students?

Wishing Islinda might have answers to those questions, she turned to face her friend, "Izzy, what do they teach in other courses? Why we are being Seperated with many restrictions? "

Her voice came with innocence and curiosity wanting to know what's happening in HIGH academy.

Nolan's sharp ears instantly turned on hearing this question and he instantly hoped to their side, thinking it was his chance to make his presence in front of her.

He thought about various ways to approach her. However, reality is way too cruel. As soon as he went near her, not only did he forget his lines, but also gave in to his usual venomous tongue and arrogant behavior just like how he behaves with others.

Before Islinda could say anything, his voice which is as cold as ice came into their is ears, " Don't you know one could eat whatever they want, but one shouldn't run their mouth however they like. "

Roselia and Islinda were stunned listening to him.

Was he referring to Roselia? Islinda didn't know how to refute for his arrogancy. She swiftly turned to have a words war with the person woever he might be.

However, to her surprise, it was her brother Nolan. Of course, he never allowed her to call him brother claiming that only his childhood sweetheart and his brother can address him that way and asked her to leave the honorifics. So unwillingly she has to obey to him as he wished.

Islinda was at a loss of words while Roselia still remained in daze listening to his voice.
