Unexpected kiss

In the bustling classroom, the teacher was engrossed in explaining intricate trigonometric graphs. Luna and her best friend, Bella, exchanged notes, trying to keep up with the lesson. Luna's gaze, however, was drawn to Ethan, the most handsome and notorious guy in school. Known as the ultimate heartbreaker, he effortlessly flirted with everyone, earning him the title of the school's player. Luna's thoughts were interrupted by the bitter truth that many girls at school had fallen for Ethan's charms, only to have their hearts shattered in the end.

Luna couldn't help but resent Ethan for his reckless behavior. She recalled a time around grade eight when bella was partnered with Ethan for a computer project he didn't contribute at all, and they ended up with a failing grade and detention. Luna sighed, thinking about that embarrassing incident that happened to her friend

As if her wish had been granted, the bell rang, signaling lunchtime. Luna's friends greeted her enthusiastically, and she smiled as she took her seat, preparing to enjoy her meal. Luna and her best friend, Bella, exchanged greetings.

For a year now, Luna had been sitting in the same seat, a spot she had claimed for herself due to her friend Bella's crush on Jayden, one of Ethan's best friends. Bella had always wanted to sit close to the Populace, and Luna, being the loyal friend she was, obliged.

While Luna savored her food, she observed Ethan and his two best friends, Jaden and Mike, who sat at a table surrounded by what Luna derogatorily referred to as "the populace," a group of girls and jocks who fawned over Ethan. Luna couldn't help but cringe as one cheerleader shamelessly sat on Ethan's lap, engaging in a public display of affection. Overhearing snippets of conversation from Ethan's table, Luna couldn't believe her ears.

"Dude, I've fucked most of the girls in this school.

There isn't anyone I can't get." | overhear

Ethan saying to Jayden.Jayden raises his eyebrows then turns to scan the cafeteria.

His eyes keep scanning and I watch him, until his eyes land on someone unexpected and he smirks. Me.

Jaden whispered to ethan,  raising his eyebrows in challenge. Jaden scanned the cafeteria, his eyes eventually landing on Luna. A smirk played on Jaden's lips as he turned back to Ethan.

"Bet he can't get Luna Anderson," Ethan declared, nodding towards Luna. Luna quickly averted her gaze to Bella, who was staring at her in wide-eyed disbelief.

"Did you hear them?" Bella screeched in a hushed tone.

"He's betting that Ethan can't get you. Do you know how competitive Ethan is? Run!" Bella whispered urgently.

Taking bella's advice to heart, Luna stood up quickly, glancing over at the raucous group surrounding Ethan and Jaden. They were staring at her, and without hesitation, she made her way toward the exit of the cafeteria. There were still five minutes left until lunch ended, so she decided to walk to her next class.

As Luna walked, she suddenly heard her name being shouted. She turned around, her eyes widening as she saw Ethan running towards her. Panic surged through her veins, and she began to back away slowly. However, Ethan reached her faster than expected and pushed her gently into the wall. Luna grunted, her eyes squeezed shut in anticipation of what would come next.

"Ouch!" Luna opened her eyes when she heard Ethan whisper.

"Step one, or at least I think that's what he said," Ethan questioned. "Do you know who I am?" he asked, his voice soft but filled with intrigue.

Confused, Luna furrowed her brow and nodded in response.

"Good." Ethan leaned closer, putting his forehead against hers, and Luna felt his minty breath on her face. His piercing green eyes locked onto her blue ones as he continued, "Step two." A mischievous smirk formed on his lips, but Luna was paralyzed with a mix of fear and curiosity. Her mind screamed at her to break away, but her mouth remained shut.

Ethan moved his lips closer to Luna's, and she remained frozen in her spot. Then, before she knew it, he kissed her with such force that it would have knocked her over if the lockers hadn't been behind her. Luna's mind whirled in confusion and shock. Ethan was

kissing her!
