"Anya," Aiden answered the call, calling out Anya's name softly.

It didn't take long for him to pick up Anya's call. This was the call he had been waiting for a long time ago.

Anya heard Aiden's voice that seemed to drown her from the end of the phone. She thought back to all the things Aiden did for her without her knowledge and took a deep breath. "Your sister-in-law came to the house."

"If you don't want to see her, I'll call Nico and tell him to come home." Aiden said calmly.

Even at times like this, Aiden was still thinking about her feelings.

"Sis Maria told me something. Is there nothing you want to tell me?" Anya asked.

"I don't know what Sister Maria told you, but I only want to tell you one thing. Anya, you are the only person I care about and I will never do anything that can hurt your heart," Aiden said in a deep voice.

Anya took a deep breath when she heard Aiden's words.
