Chapter 3 (Getting on the Queen Bee's bad side)

Keres met a shocking revelation from the bug she had retrieved from the the steel door office the previous night. However, she wasn't going to let anyone of the people who asked her to retrieve it know that she knew what the contents were. Black Cat had had series of missions like the one they were carrying out at that moment in the past but this was different. It involved families. A community. A town. She had to act properly and desist from acting on her own. That was her way of doing things, but if she wanted to get what she was hoping for in the end she had to lay low and get all the information she needed first.

She had some people over at the church's cathedral. The members of Black Cat. Keres handed over to them the bug she was asked to retrieve. Hurricane began accessing it and was shocked just as she was.

"So, this is what's been going on in Diego Enterprise?" He asked after watching the video file

"Why ask me? You said to retrieve it and I did. I wasn't the one who planted it there" she said

He dropped the lpod he had in his hands and turned her to himself

"Keres, don't you think you're being too bossy?" He asked

"Well, you aren't Hunter"

Silas could tell from her tone she was disturbed

"What's wrong? I can see that you're concerned about something" he said

"I saw our symbol in the form of a tattoo like we all have on someone's body. Do we have other members around that I don't know about?" she asked

"Hunter instructed not to let you know anything that's going on but he asked that you'd be present the day after tomorrow for some announcement. I don't know" Hurricane said

"F9, is it an announcement or what?!" Keres shouted angrily

"Why are you shouting? I told you, come to the lodge the day after tomorrow and get the details yourself" he said

"I can't be found out and we know that. If something goes wrong I wouldn't be held responsible for it since you guys are keeping important information from me!" she said and turned around

The Priest was walking towards them.

"Quick, go!" she ordered the others

"Why? Let's meet the Priest and ask for our prayers to be answered" Hurricane said tying to annoy her

"Seriously?" she asked turning around

"See you Keres" Silas said and dragged Hurricane out of the church before the Priest could get to them

"Who were those?" the Priest asked

"My friends" she said

"You should have had them talk with me" The Priest said

"Sorry Father, they're quite shy but some other time I'll introduce you to them" she said

"I've got to go" she added and hurried inside the church

Diego Enterprise was in an uproar. The CEO's office had been invaded and that could only mean one thing. Evidence of their corruption had been moved out of the building to God knows where. Diego paced about wondering why the invader would only come into his office. Of course he was corrupt and all that so they'd probably come in there to take evidence of his crime but this time nothing was missing from the office. They had no idea if something was taken and replaced or if it was taken but they were too dumb to notice or if nothing was taken down except the steel door. Worse, no one saw the culprit. They couldn't call the police because that would mean them digging their own graves.

"So you're saying none of you saw the bastard who did this? Where were you all?" Diego shouted

"Nothing seems to be missing Sir" the security agents said

"The steel door went down and you're telling me nothing is missing?" Diego asked

"Yes Sir, we checked every spot in the office and nothing seems to be missing. Perhaps, the culprit took off after hearing the siren from our security agents" the second agent said

"Check, check and check again, if anything went out from that office to the public we will be doomed. Do you get that?!" Diego shouted

"Yes Sir" the agents said and hurried out. He sighed and sat on the most comfortable arm chair in the world specially designed like he instructed. He couldn't even go to his office and could only give orders from his home for the fear of the invader attacking him. Nikolay, his son walked into the living room to find his Father looking distressed and his mother peeking at him from the dining room. No one needed to tell him something had happened. Something bad.

He walked up to her and gave her an embrace. He was glad his Father didn't beat her up this time.

"What's wrong?" he asked

"Some people broke into your Dad's office last night" Claudia said

Nikolay smiled to himself. Finally, someone sensible was doing something about his Father.

"That's great, I hope they can finally expose him for displacing those people from their homes" he said and walked out

He threw his bag beside the door in his room and sat by his reading table. His eyes met the picture on the table. His friend, Hazel.

He remembered the last moment he had with her. She had been avoiding him in school and when he tried to talk things out with her she confronted him about his Father trying to acquire the land where her town's people lived. Protests had been going on and she wasn't ready to be seen with the son of the man trying to displace people from their homes. That was the last he saw her because she died during the protest. If Diego never tried to force them out of their land she wouldn't have died. He thought it was all his fault. He sincerely hoped whoever it was who was trying to expose him hurried the hell up.

Sally woke up with an irritable attitude that morning. She had no idea why but she was just pissed off at everything and everyone. Nothing seemed to appeal to her at all. She had given the church members something new to talk about when she told the Priest that God didn't exist when he tried to make the sign of the cross on her. Several times she heard them ask the Priest to take her back to wherever it was he found her because she was going to be the death of him but like the kind and gentle soul he was he couldn't let her go astray. She sat in the classroom with a wrinkled forehead ignoring everyone who tried to talk to her. Why couldn't they just read her expression and stay away?

"Hi Sally" Oscar said. She didn't respond to him. He stopped to check if it was really her in her desk and she was. What happened with the big, bright and bubbly personality?

"What's with her?" He asked Ray

"Woke up on the left side of her bed" Ray whispered. Legend who seemed to be a legend when it came to her studies and not a legend when it came to not bugging people walked up to Sally requesting her to deliver lunch again to Nikolay when it was lunchtime. That sent Sally's head ablaze.

"Am I some sort of lunch delivery man? If you want to give it to him do it yourself and stop acting like a spoilt brat!" She shouted. Her voice was so loud the whole class turned towards them.

"Sally!" Ray called amazed at her outburst. Shouting seemed to do the trick. She felt cool all of a sudden. It was as though she couldn't breathe before but suddenly she could appreciate God's free gift of air. Legend was annoyed. Well, she shouldn't because she was asking for too much. It wasn't like she was paying the delivery fees.

"I'm sorry for bothering you" she said

Sally looked around and saw everyone giving her the evil eye. It was the Queen Bee she just called a spoilt brat. Everyone was staring at her just the way they did in her old school. Or was she seeing things? Ray and Oscar were whispering amongst themselves and she was sure it was about her. She couldn't let herself be the outcast again. Not because of what kept happening to her.

"Legend, I'm sorry. I'm kind of on edge right now. I didn't mean it like that, I promise" she apologized

"What's wrong?" Legend asked

"I just have some trouble with my homework" she lied

"Oh. Sorry I was bothering you" Legend said

Sally got up and walked out of the classroom. It was beginning to feel hot again. She saw Ian, Sandra and Emma in the hallway.

She stopped in her tracks and glanced at Ian's fingers. The mark was still there. It wasn't a drawing or anything. Just who was he?

"Hi Sally!" Emma said

"My desk-buddy, what's up?" He said winking at her

She feared she was going to hit someone or say something worse than a spoilt brat and totally ruin her image so she acted like she didn't see them and took off on her heels.

"What's wrong with her?" Ian asked

"I'm just coming in with you, how am I supposed to know that?" Emma asked

"Ray, do you know what's wrong with Sally? We were talking to her and she just snubbed us" Sandra said

"Everyone here has been ignored by Sally since this morning. She even yelled at Legend and called her a spoilt brat" Ray answered

"What? That's strange" Emma said

"She seemed like a total fiery ball" Oscar said

Ray glanced at Nikolay who was sitting there the whole time but with his head phones on and his eyes closed. Ray bet he was feeling like a boy in a drama.

"I think Nikolay and Sally are kind of alike. Sometimes they are open to others and sometimes it's like they're in a world of their own" he said

"Nikolay is worse. He's never open. Not after what happened to Hazel" Oscar said

At the mention of Hazel's name, Nikolay sprang to his feet and pulled Oscar by his shirt. Before he could fathom what was going on Nikolay dealt him a punch on his face. Ray and the rest rushed towards him trying to get him to stop and Oscar's lips began bleeding.

"Don't you ever mention her name with that filthy mouth of yours. Do you get that?!" Nikolay shouted at him. He shoved Legend and Ray aside and walked out of the classroom

Nikolay had always been hearing everything the students were saying in the class and they didn't know it. He even heard about Legend's lunch delivery scheme. A host of them had said shit about him in his face thinking he couldn't hear them because of the music he was listening to but now they learnt the hard way that he knew of what exactly it was they thought of him.

Sally walked in and found everyone gathered around Oscar who was trying to get the cut to stop bleeding.

"What's wrong?" she asked

"Nikolay. He punched him" Legend offered to explain

"What?!" Sally exclaimed seeing the cut on Oscar's lip

"It's nothing, I just said something I shouldn't have" Oscar said dabing the blood

"What's that?" She asked

"We aren't supposed to talk about it so let's just put it to rest" Oscar said

"Does it hurt?" she asked Everyone was surprised at her sudden mood change. She was just being a snub and an arrogant girl and suddenly she was caring and concerned

"Not at all" Oscar said

"This won't do. Nikolay must apologize to him. I mean, what exactly did he say that would warrant him punching his friend?" she asked

"Actually, I'm not his friend, we're just on talking terms" Oscar said

"Even though. He shouldn't have done that" Sally insisted

"Sally, put it to rest. Nikolay might turn his aggression towards you" Legend said

"Aggression?" She laughed "I have plenty of that in store and I'll use the opportunity to give him the lunch you made. It shouldn't go to waste, right?"

"I could eat it" Ray said stepping up

"Shut it. I'll give it to him during lunch since it seems he'll not come to class through out today" she said and sat down. Mrs. Andre, the homeroom teacher walked in killing the noise and excitement.

Nothing was more annoying than being Legend's delivery girl. Sally was annoyed but she had to swallow every ounce of it if she wanted to be acknowledged in her new school. Getting on bad terms with Legend wasn't going to help. No one needed to tell her. The look the students had on their faces when she called Legend a spoilt brat showed that they could make life difficult for her if she messed with their Queen. Sally walked into the smelly basketball ball court with her fingers in her nostrils. The place reeked of sweat and Legend had said Nikolay would be there.

"Nikolay Diego!" She called out

"What do you want?" his voice rang out

He laid on the floor using his bag as a pillow. Surprisingly he looked very comfortable in the unpleasant atmosphere.

"There you are. How do you manage to stay here?" she asked "This place reeks of sweat" she added. She was ignoring his question and seeing her invade his personal space wasn't digesting.

"What do you want? Are you here to be Legend's delivery girl again?" he asked. He heard her outburst

"No I'm not" she said. He eyed the lunch bag in her hands "Maybe I am but that's by the way" she said

"Then what do you want?" He asked

"An apology"

"What?"

"I want you to apologize to Oscar. Maybe he said something that hurt you but at least you shouldn't have punched him. Do you know you hurt his pride as a guy?" she asked

"If you don't know anything just stay out of it" he said

"I don't care what he did, what's important is that you apologize for hitting him, because you're in the wrong"

"And yes, the delivery. She handed him the lunch bag. Legend made it again even though you already knew that. You can tell that she likes you so at least accept it for today and if you like her tell her, if you don't you can also tell her. The worse you can do is lead her on without having feelings for her" she said and walked away

Hazel had said those words to him in the past. The more he looked at Sally the more he thought she was similar to her. That was probably why he was tolerating her runny mouth. He glanced at the lunch bag she dropped. She was right. He didn't like Legend and letting her deliver lunches to him everyday was the same as leading her forward. Rejecting her was the only way backwards.

Classes had ended for the day and the students packed their bags indirectly sending signals to the Teacher who stood at the board that they didn't want to learn anymore. Spending six hours in school was like putting a bird who desired to fly around in a cage. Who the hell made the rules that youngsters had to attend school and spend hours listening to boring Teachers?

The Teacher finally got the message after an extra five minutes of talking to himself and walked out of the class. Oscar was worried about how he was going to face his Mother because of the cut on his lip. He claimed his handsome face was ruined by Nikolay's fist.

"You really are full of yourself, I think you deserved to get punched" Sally said. The others began to laugh so much at her words. Their laughter soon died down when Nikolay walked in.

He couldn't bring himself to apologize to Oscar after he mentioned Hazel's name. No one was supposed to do that in their class. If anyone was going to remember her he wanted it to be him because all they could do was talk trash about her. Oscar didn't say anything mean about her but he didn't want him or anyone talking about her. Infact, if given the chance he would beat him to death but Sally was right, there was no point in doing that.

"I'm sorry for hitting you, Oscar" he said

The whole class stood still. Nikolay had apologized to Oscar. The school's Ice King said sorry. Oscar looked from Raymond to Legend wondering if he heard correctly. Nikolay looked at them wondering if they didn't hear him properly.

"I said I'm sorry" he repeated Oscar was sure he heard this time

"It's nothing dude, I was at fault" Oscar said. At least he knew.

"No, I shouldn't have still hit you. It was wrong" he said

"And very stupid, plus childish. That's what he's trying to say" Sally added for him. Nikolay began walking to her with a frown on his face like he would beat her. She wasn't feeling scared for some reason. It was happening again. She couldn't control her tongue.

"Why? You have something to say for yourself, Nikolay?" she asked. He backed away. "I thought as much. Why don't you two shake hands and forget about this, huh?" she suggested

"No way!" Nikolay said

"You're being annoying and insensitive right now. Do you know that? You're the one apologizing and you're refusing to shake hands?!" She asked at the top of her voice

Emma and Sandra exchanged confused looks. Nikolay was talking to Sally. She was even ordering him to do things and he was doing them. They wondered what she had on him. He shook Oscar's hands surprising them even more.

With that settled they all walked out but Nikolay still had work to do. He grabbed Legend by the arm and pulled her back into the classroom.

"Can I talk to you for a while?"

"Sure" Legend said waving the others off. "What do you want to talk about?"

"Thanks for bringing me those lunches..." he started

"It's nothing, I do it because I like doing it" she said

"I like you, Legend" he said

She felt on top of the world. Her long time crush was about to confess his feelings for her. That had been her dream since she was five. She had imagined this moment billions of times and now it was going to be reality.

"Go on" she said with her eyes closed

"I like you, but only as a friend and older sister" he said. He wasn't confessing. He was drawing a line.

"What?!" she asked

"I don't mean to hurt your feelings but I'd like it if you could stop everything you're doing" he said

She dropped her bag angrily. It wasn't going as she imagined. She was being rejected, friend zoned.

"Why? Because of Hazel?" she asked

"Can you not mention her name? And it isn't because of her, it's because I can't like anyone and I don't want to like anyone" he said

No matter the way he put the words he was still drawing a line between them but she still wanted to be with him. She had been waiting for years and then Hazel came and left so she could still wait some more. If he was looking for a line, distance or whatever she was going to give it because she knew in her heart they would be together.

"Okay, I'll put everything to rest, after all I said we've broken up" she faked a smile

"But promise me one thing" she said

"What?" he asked

"Don't skip classes and don't skip your lunch because if I notice your absence that's when I'd be thinking of you but if you're always there it'd be like every normal day. Promise?" she asked showing him her pinky. What was she? A two year old?

"I've got to go now, see you tomorrow" he said and walked away. Her legs were so weak she had to lean on a desk. All her effort, hope of them being together. It was just flushed down the drain. Hazel.

Ian was one of the reasons Sally was on edge that day. The mark on his finger kept bugging her. It wasn't reason enough for her to be grumpy but it played a huge role in her mood change. They were walking out of the school and she was thinking of the most subtle way she was going to ask him about his personal life. She had this feeling they were connected but she couldn't decipher how.

"Ian!" She called. He stopped in his tracks and asked the others to go ahead of him. His desk buddy was beckoning

"Yeah?" He said flashing her his dazzling smile. She was caught off guard. No way. This could be someone she was related to. No catching feelings or anything was allowed.

"You've got a tattoo?" she said

"It sounds like a question but it also seems like you're making a statement" he said

"Do you?" she asked

"Yes. How did you know?" he asked

"I'm your desk buddy, I saw it when you were writing" she said "What does it mean?"

"Nothing. I was just being naughty when I was fourteen and then got the tattoo, the tattooist made it up" he said. A tattoo?

"The tattooist, where can I find him or her?" she asked

"Why would you look for the tattooist?"

"I like the tattoo, I would like them to come up with one for me" A fat lie it was.

"But there are other good tattooists out there. Just meet one and they'll do it for you, what's so special about this one?" he asked

"I like the creativity. A black Cheetah preparing to run and he knew where to place it. I find it fascinating" she said. She was so persistent it was getting on his nerves

"Well, truth is, the tattooist is dead"

"Dead?"

"Yes, dead. So quit bugging me. He turned around to see they were the only ones left in the school. Look the others left already" he said

"And hey, don't tell anyone I've got a tattoo. I might get punished or asked to call my parents" he added

"Why are you scared to call your parents?" she asked

"Because they don't know I've got the tattoo. Now, stop interrogating me like some Sherlock" he said and began to walk away. She continued following him. She wasn't ready to let him off the hook yet

"Let me know where you live, I won't tell Emma and I'll take you to the church where I live" she said

"Why do you want to know where I live?" he asked

"Aren't we class mates and desk-buddies?" she asked staring him straight in the eyes

He was surprised at her numerous questions. The way she looked at him ticked him off. It was as if she was trying to force answers out of his mouth him. He looked away immediately

"Stop!"

"I don't know how you got the Almighty Nikolay to apologize to Oscar but you're not going to use whatever you used on him on me. So goodbye and see you tomorrow" he said and walked away

"Darn it" Sally cursed. She wasn't able to get anything useful from him except for the fact that the mark wasn't a birth mark but a tattoo. She looked around thinking she was the only one left but she wasn't. Nikolay and Legend were still inside the school. After crying her eyes out she decided to come out and found Sally standing outside.

"What are you still doing here?" She asked walking up to her

"Oh, I was talking to Ian" Sally answered

"I see"

"Can I ask some questions about Ian?" Sally asked

"Why Sally? You're interested in him?" Legend asked. If that was going to get her to talk about him then yes. She was interested in him. Technically, she was.

"Yeah" she lied "I don't know anything about him and I don't want to begin to have a crush on someone I know nothing about" she added

"Okay, ask away" Legend said opening the floor

"When did he start this school?"

"Last week, before you started"

"What? Last week?"

"Yes"

"Then, why are you guys acting like you've known each other for ages? And Emma said he's school President, how'd he get elected?" Sally asked

"That's how we are and about him being school President, we had the election the week of his arrival and Emma pulled all the girls together to vote for him because he's hot and now she thinks she did him a favor" Legend said

"What about his family? Any siblings?"

"No, he hasn't talked about his family with us. We don't even know where he lives" Legend answered. It was time for her after school classes so she had to leave Sally alone with her thoughts on what the deal was with Ian.

"I've got to go now ma'am, my belly really hurts" Sally pleaded

"Go to the infirmary then" Mrs. Andre said

"No, I have to take my medicine before it gets late. I might die!" She shouted in frustration.

Why didn't Teachers ever buy their students fake acting? It was as if she knew immediately that she was just trying to get out of school.

"I've seen students like you pretend this way so they'd skip school. Don't try it with me" Mrs. Andre said

Ha! She thought she had seen everything in all her years of experience as a Teacher but she had never seen anyone like Sally and she was going to prove it to her. She bit her tongue, drew blood and began spitting it around the class. The Teacher sprang to her feet and rushed to her. Now, she saw worse than she thought. The students were concerned thinking they were going to witness the death of a classmate. Sally smiled to herself.

"Mrs. Andre she's dying!" Legend screamed rushing to her side

"Quick, Nikolay take her to the infirmary!" Mrs. Andre ordered and like a concerned student he made to lift her. She wanted to leave the school not go to the infirmary. Couldn't they just get it?

"I said I want to go home!" She shouted pushing Nikolay with her arm

"Fine, but how do you go on your own?" Mrs. Andre asked

"I'll go with her" Legend volunteered

"No, you have to finish your school work and Raymond you can't go because you've got detention later" Mrs. Andre said shutting Ray up as he tried to volunteer

"Then who'd go with her?" Sandra asked

"Gosh, make a decision, she spitting out more blood!" Oscar announced

"Nikolay and Ian!" Mrs. Andre yelled "Take her to the hospital and not to her house"

"What?!" Ian asked surprised. He wasn't buying Sally's act. She was the last person he wanted to have anything to do with especially after their question and answer segment the previous day.

"Help her with her bag, quickly!" Legend said handing it to Nikolay.

Ray had to drag Ian out of his seat but Nikolay who was a big fool to notice she was faking it was all keen on helping her get to the hospital.

Luckily for Sally, Mrs. Andre couldn't go with them because the school's owners were coming in for an inspection. All she could do to help was lead them outside the school to try and get a taxi.

"Are you okay?" Nikolay asked

"Can't you see she's already at the other side?" Ian asked angrily

Sally made to curse at him but held back. She wasn't going to be like those in the Old testament who encountered failure at the edge of their breakthrough. She was less than 20 feet away from the school gate so Ian's foul mouth wasn't going to stop her plans. Once inside the taxi, Sally stopped faking her belly ache. Nikolay was going through a moment of shock.

"What?" she asked "Don't look at me like I committed a deadly sin" she said

"Were you pretending?" Nikolay asked

"I knew it!" Ian said

"Stay out of this" she said to him

"Please stop the taxi" she told the driver

"Where are you going to?" Nikolay asked

"What do you care?" she asked him

"Actually, I was going to leave too so thank you for helping me get out of the school with your acting" Ian said

"When you get back to the school tell the Teacher that you left me with Sally and that we arrived at a hospital but her Father came to take her home" he told Nikolay and walked away

"You heard him right?" She asked

"And besides, it's The Priest and not her Father she added and walked away leaving Nikolay short of words.

The duo walked their separate ways leaving Nikolay alone in the taxi. He asked the driver to take him back to the school and wondered how he was going to explain to Mrs. Andre why he was back so soon and why Ian wasn't with him. He met her outside the school punishing some students who tried to go over the school fence.

"Nikolay Diego, why are you coming in alone? Where are Ian and Sally? And why are you back so early?" She asked

"Ummm... She's fine now" he said and walked into the classroom. Their classmates made a huge circle around him trying to know where Ian and Sally were.

"Nikolay tell us, where exactly is she?" Legend asked

"She was faking it" he said

"What?!" The all exclaimed

"She was faking it? Then what about Ian?" Legend asked

"He left as well" he answered

"Ah, I know what's going on" Legend said

"You do?" Ray asked

"Yesterday, Sally asked me some questions about Ian and she told me she has a crush on him and she didn't want to get into a relationship with someone she knew nothing about" Legend said

"They're on a date" she concluded

"What?!" Emma shouted. "How could she?!"

"Put it to rest Emma, Ian doesn't like you" Ray said

Nikolay looked at them wondering if they were stupid. He said Ian left not that he was with Sally or anything and with the way they were bickering there was no way they were on a date.

Keres literally jumped out of the taxi and began running into the building. She knew she was late and would definitely be in trouble. Hurricane was going to have something to say whereas she had nothing on him. If only she was allowed to leave on time she would have been the one doing the opening prayers. She was sure Hunter would have already shared the important gist to the punctual members. It wasn't really helping her that she had to attend to other matters and still stick with Black Cat just because of the information they could get.

She rushed inside startling the others. She was indeed late making it Hurricane's time to shine.

"Finally, Keres you've decided to grace us with your presence" he said

"Shut up F9" she said and walked up to Hunter

"I hate it when she calls me F9" he muttered

"And you've finally decided to address us after sending us to stupid places huh?" she asked

"Take it easy, Keres" Hunter said

"Really? I'm made to go back to school and smile like I like going to school and you don't give me any orders aside from going to school?!" she yelled

"Pun, a play on words" Hurricane said

"See? Your schooling is helping with your grammar. You still look good in a uniform and besides you never finished high school" he said

"Because I didn't need to" she said with her arms crossed

"Aren't we supposed to be taking out our frustrations on Diego Enterprise? Let's not fight amongst ourselves" Silas said. Aw, the mediator himself.

"Really? Then why is it that no one gives me any updates? Remember the reason why I joined Black Cat, I haven't forgotten if you have" she said

"From now onwards, you'd be receiving updates, we just wanted to get things settled first"

"That's the main reason why I called for this meeting" Hunter said

She sat on an available chair and turned away still angry

"Starting from tomorrow, our revenge on Diego Enterprise begins. Our plan is to expose their crimes of giving bribes to the town planners who displaced us from our homes with the evidence Keres retrieved" he began

"After seeing the evidence, I figured we'll need more to take them down. But first, we would like to introduce a new member to the group" he said

"Ian, come on out!" Hurricane said

A boy walked out of the shadows where he had been standing earlier with his head down

"This is Ian, he and Keres would be handling the school along with Julianne; the serpent" Hunter said. Silas laughed at his words while Keres was puzzled

"Who's he? And who's Julianne the serpent?" Keres asked

"Me" Mrs. Peters said walking up to her. She was shocked beyond words

"You?!" Keres asked

"Yes, me. Ian come on out" Mrs. Peters said

"Hi, Sally or should I say, Keres" Ian said smiling at her. He had found her out and she had too. The tattoo was the symbol every Black Cat member had and Ian was one of them not her long lost relative. Yes, Sally was Keres. She was Sally in the school and Keres outside the school.

"You.... You're supposed to be at school" Keres said

"I told you I needed to get out of school too" Ian said

"There's something you don't know Keres" Hunter said touching her shoulder

"The school Delta High is actually owned by Diego Enterprise" he said

"What?" she exclaimed. She already knew that. If she was going after Diego Enterprise she had to know that much.

"Yes, which is why we were recruited to join you to get info from the school" Ian said

"There's a lot of bribery and corruption going on in the school and we plan on exposing it to slowly bring Diego Enterprise to their doom" Mrs. Peters said

There was no action in the plan. It wasn't what she expected. She wanted to pull Diego Enterprise down but not in a civilized way like Hunter was doing. Illegally collecting evidence wasn't civilized either but he was too soft for her liking. And now additional members? Her Biology Teacher and the annoying desk buddy she had at school

"Okay" Keres said and turned around to leave

"That's wrong? Aren't you going to say anything more?" Hurricane asked. The fact that she was calm was something he wasn't comfortable with. If she pulled someone's hair or broke some chairs then he would be.

"What's there to say? You guys have everything planned out already so the least I can do is beg you guys to update me" she said and walked away

"I'll follow her" Ian said and went after her

"Keres!" he called

"Don't you dare call my name!" she shouted at him

"Would you be comfortable with Sally?" He asked

"Get out of my way" she said trying to push him aside

"Okay, I don't think I'm accountable to you so you have no right to get mad at me" he said

"I don't, but you're a complete and total idiot" she said

"What?!"

"I saw the tattoo, some one else would have seen it and everything we have planned out would end up falling through, is that what you want?" she asked

"So you're telling me to be careful?" he asked

"They don't even know where you live, the name of your parents and you're saying you're going undercover? Undercover what exactly?" she asked

"Fine, let me move in with you" he said

"What did you just say?" she asked

"It's not like it was not bound to happen. I'll simply tell the kids I didn't want anyone to know we stayed together and we were both adopted by the Priest"

"You can put in a good word for me to him, right?" he asked

"No. I'm not going to do that and considering your lack of caution I'll say I'd have nothing to do with you" she said

"And do you know you're a bad liar? Your parents have never seen the tattoo on your fingers?" she asked

"Others would have believed it but since you're one of us that's why you never believed me" he said

"But, I actually thought you were a normal school girl" he said smiling

"Seeing you in that uniform you seem almost all innocent but outside the school walls you're like a badass Detective out to correct the wrong in society, right?" he said laughing

"Detective? I am no Detective" she said sternly

"Who named you Sally anyway?" He asked

"Sally, meaning a princess. It's the name given to the pretty new girl next door"

"Were you trying to run from the meaning of your real name?" he asked

"Keres, Ian is moving in with you in the church and you have no say" Mrs. Peters said stepping out

"I better go get my things then"
