Ratchet Rachel had just picked up a whole roll from her dealer before being dropped off at the Halloween rave. She didn't know that many people though. So she would need to be careful. Rachel had just paid $950 for 100 pills of ecstasy; each pill had a finger, up to lips, printed on them. Some people were calling them Hush, others nicknamed them, Secrets. She planned to sell them, 3 for $50, or $20 each. Getting them past security in her bra was easier than she had expected.
Violet is one of Rachel's best friends, they did a lot together, especially back in high school. Rachel was her BFF, nothing really changed since then, but they saw a little less of each other since going to college. Life was just busier, but their relationship was strong.
Rachel was more the "bad girl" of the two of them. Violet couldn't remember how many times she stopped Rachel from stealing from the wrong place, or having sex with the wrong guy, but it was a lot. Violet went along with the, sneaking into, of various places though.
These days, neither of them were working. They are just going to school. However, some of Rachel's other friends were not the kind of people that Violet appreciates hanging out with. They were just into some next level movement of narcotics that Rachel was comfortable being around, but Violet wasn't.
Thanks to those connections, Rachel has all these pills, and is trying to get rid of them at the party. When she told Violet about the business she was going to handle, Violet's eyes went wide. She didn't like the idea of her friend becoming a drug dealer. After some convincing, Violet is able see where Rachel is coming from and is now ready to hear her friend out.
"So, if you help me, I'll give you a cut of the action." They worked out a lot with friends they knew, that made a few hundred, but then they had to work things out with people they didn't know. The people were all cool, having been in the scene for some time. However, the ladies had to make sure they didn't get caught by either bouncers or undercover cops.
They worked out a system. Violet would talk to people who were interested and essentially, put them through a quick vetting process, seeing who they knew. Then she would act as go between, for Rachel. They laughed, played, danced, and had a good time, as they did their business.
By 1am, they had over $1700, on them, and 1 pill left each, which they took, with a bottle of water, after banging the pills together, as a mock "Cheers!" Violet has made a few bucks extra too, charging $55 to some of the intellectually challenged.
"Ohh, that was so much work! I mean, I wanted to come and dance, and talk to guys, but this was not exactly what I had in mind." Violet suggests, exasperated at the amount of talking she already had to do tonight. Rachel understood, and just nodded.
"Exactly." Violet laughs. Rachel then jumps up a bit and goes into her pocketbook. She pulls $400 out and gives it to Violet. Violet doesn't even count it, she just shoves it into a pocket on the inside of her Olive Drab Military Coat. Violet then kisses her friend in thanks. Not like a deep romantic kiss, but a friendly kiss of thanks. Like one she would give her mom.
She begins to move away to go and dance, but Rachel, grabs Violet's wrist, and pulls her back to her. Rachel kisses her, there is much more than mere friendship in the intent. Violet accepts the kiss, but wasn't really into it, yet wasn't, not, into it either. Rachel is. They both just laugh at each other, as Violet pulls away and begins to dance.
Ratchet Rachel looks at her friend, as she moves. Violet looks odd, yet cute, to say the least. That old time costume, and modern dance moves, the stomping about in her platform shoes and pink hair waving as she shakes her head. She was fucking adorable and Rachel is glad to finally find out if there was something there, or not.
