Chapter 133: Turning the Tide

The clash of the two tigers had turned into a contest between the snipe and the clam, with Huang Yi transforming from a mere onlooker of a fight over the mountain, to now a fisherman benefitting from the struggle! Luckily, this was an enclosed scene; had it been the sort of open area outside, he wouldn't have been able to use the hero's avatar, an opportunity not to be sought.

Brand was a magic attribute hero, and an avatar with just 2% of his strength was roughly equal to that of the Ice General. However, Brand, being more inclined towards magic attributes, was somewhat at a disadvantage in the confined Stone Chamber and was killed by the Ice General one step ahead.

This was in line with Huang Yi's expectations, as only the Ice General was worthwhile to kill, his survival would bring Huang Yi rich rewards. Had Brand killed the Ice General, Huang Yi would have gained nothing, since Brand's avatar yielded no Experience Points or loot, making it pointless to kill.
