"Now, on to you, my lady."
Her eyes gleamed with murder as she looked at the masked man. She didn't even know how many days it has been since she was caught. She lost that count long ago.
All hope of her getting rescued was already dead. The little imps were not even killing her. They were trying to initiate a war using her as a pawn. If her mother was offered to join the legions in exchange for her freedom, then her mother would do it. Her only hope now lies in her father to calm her mother down and to take the necessary steps for the stability of the kingdom.
She was forced awake from her thoughts as she heard a large glass-shattering sound. Before she was able to comprehend what was happening, she was quickly pulled out of her prison with a sudden suction force.
'Wh-what happened?' She looked around. She wanted to use this opportunity to run away, but her body betrayed her as it has no strength in them. Countless months of inactivity of the muscles lead them to be useless at the most crucial time.
She heard a footstep just before her. Raising her head with all the might and strength she has, she saw a pair of legs.
"Well, my lady, do you want to get out of here?" She heard a playful and nonchalant voice.
'Arrogant.' That was her first thought upon hearing him. She gritted her teeth.
The arrogant man squatted down to her level and met her eyes. It was purple. A dark and dreamy purple that radiated malice and kindness at the same time.
He took a deep breath.
"So, what's it going to be? The dwarven guards will be here in a matter of minutes. Hell, I'm sure they have already locked onto us. You can either come with me or you can stay here. Now, I won't guarantee your safety or anything and I don't think you're in a position to ask for it too. The only thing I can say is that you can at least have one fucking fighting chance to either return to your home or a straight pass to the afterlife." He crooked his elbow on his knees and held his face in his palm. Looking at her with pity.
Even in her weaken state, she could feel the footsteps of many beings approaching her. She wasn't sure about the guy in front of her, with his scarecrow mask and the nonchalant attitude. It was clear he was from the human kingdom. They were the only race who use a scare crow to...well, scare the crow away.
At the moment of life and death matter, she chose to trust the very, very suspicious looking human. Even if it was a trap, what can they do to her? Cage her again? She was ready to face the consequences. It was better than doing nothing and getting constantly used as a lab animal.
With all her remaining strength and willpower, she looked straight at him with determination and nodded her head.
"Alright. Now let us escape, shall we?"
The shouting and marching of the dwarven soldiers can now be heard with naked ears. She thought about the possible ways to get around them but was cut short as she saw the suspicious human summoned two potions. They were radiating a green colour.
The sound of the soldiers getting louder and louder. They could be here any second from now. She was anxious. He was nonchalant.
"Now, you and I both drink this and get the hell out of here. This thing cost me so much so you better be ready to pay me back ones your are healthy or safe." He shrugged his shoulders like the approaching dwarven soldiers were not any of his concerns.
He opened the lid of one of the potion bottles and held her chin. Without even asking for her permission or consent, he made her chug it. He did the same after making her drink the potion.
From the aura it was radiating, she was sure it was not any poison, and it was of high quality potion.
'Just who is he? His rank seems to be like on D, and he is showing this much—Ehh??' Her droopy eyes suddenly grew large. The suspicious human just became... invisible.
"wh--" She tried to talk but without any strength left, her words were cut short.
"!!!????" Suddenly she felt two arms lifting her off the floor like she was a rag of grains.
"Don't be alarmed, my lady, it is I, your prince charm." She heard a whispering in her ears. Her cheeks turned red at the sudden move.
She was too shocked to even move. That is when she noticed she was also invisible, like him.
'Invisibility potion? Is the legends could be true?'
"DROP YOUR WEAPONS AND SURRENDER NOW!!!" She heard a thundering shout from the entrance of the lab. Many dwarves suddenly poured into the lab on two sides and stationed around the lab. There were more than 70 of them.
"Sire, there is no one here. Ev-even the prisoner is missing." One of the dwarf reported to the heavily built dwarf.
"Search every perimeter of the lab. Find the prisoner and find the bastard who has done this level of fuckery. The prisoner gets the highest priority." The heavily built dwarf barked out orders and thus, the remaining dwarves started to search every corner of the lab, leaving the entrance unattended, which was the perfect opportunity for the gracious villain, Babel, to escape with the high-elf with him.
He passed the entrance with a swift motion without any of the dwarves noticing it.
'Hey shithead, set the teleportation device's coordination to the mountains. Can you even do that?'
[...Fuck you. I can do that. How come the dwarves didn't have any detectors with them? Are they even dwarves?]
'Maybe they came in a hurry or something, I don't know. Just do it.'
[...Aye, aye captain.]
When the damsel in distress and her prince charm passed through the junction, the effect of the potion wore off, making them visible again.
"Well, that worked like charm." But his happiness was short-lived.
"THERE! There they are!! The prisoner is also with him." One of the late for duty dwarf spotted the duo and screamed with his lungs.
"Oh, fuck!! I gotta admit, my lady, you're quite heavy, you know that." He casually dropped that bomb on her like it was just an everyday compliment to a lovely lady like her.
[...]
{...}
"..."
The bomb, with much more impact than the initial thought, nuked the exact spot.
She looked at his purple eyes with embarrassment and anger. Her crimson eyes piercing through his calm eyes.
Maybe because the potion was from the system store, it gave her some rejuvenation. Not too much, but a little to elbow him in the stomach and utter some words.
"Bastard, you don't... talk like that...to a lady."
"Ugh, is that how you repay someone who helped you escape a literal another world prison? Show some love towards your prince charm, would ya?" He looked at her eyes, leveling her anger with his sarcasm.
"..." She pouted and looked away.
[...I'm honestly speechless. Where you honestly always like this or do your behaviour changes when seeing beautiful ladies, simp.]
'Fuck you!'
All of a sudden, his hair stood up and, like an instinctual awakening, he flanked to the left, avoiding what seemed like spiked chains.
"...Fuck!!!" He cursed and looked back, only to find a horde of dwarves, like a horde of zombies running behind him, seemingly want to eat his brains.
He flanked to the right, feeling the hell chains again. The chain made him remember the Fenrir attack on the academy, somehow.
He could see the exit of the tunnel. He could hear the shouting of the dwarven zombie army.
"Bastard!!"
"Stop there! Or you're dead."
"You're courting death, little brother."
Various curses could be heard. It was like a lullaby for Babel.
After dodging many more of the hell chain he finally neared the tunnel's exit or entrance. Due to the elf's weight and the accumulated fatigue, the horde of dwarves were so close to capture him.
He jumped at the entrance to the water while the hell chain was inches away from wrapping around his legs. The dwarves' eyes widen like a meat ball seeing this. They were all rejoicing.
"Activate."
But their happiness was short-lived as the duo suddenly vanished in the thin air as soon as they exited the tunnel gates.
"Wh-what the fuck happened???!!!!" the heavily built dwarf wailed in agony.

Somewhere in the rocky mountains, a masked man was desperately trying to breathe and refill his lungs as he was lying on the surface with the elf on top of him, completely passed out.
