COMFORT

"This place is beautiful," Claire mumbled as her eyes remained glued to the sky. There were a million stars, like speckles of dust, littered in it. The moon was shaped like a crescent.

Nick had brought her to some bridge. It was actually a pedestrian bridge which people passed by but at that time of the night it was serene and it was just the two of them there.

From the railings of the bridge, one could look down and see the whole city and the sight of the sky was amazing too.

"You mentioned that this is your favorite place?" Claire muttered as she turned to look at Nick. He nodded at her words.

"So, why would you bring me here? I mean you don't even know me. We just go to school together and before today, you were pretty much avoiding me or I don't know…" she didn't complete her statement.
