CHAPTER Fourteen

  Aria

My eyes, for some unexplainable reason locked with that one rouge in the middle.

None of the other rouges moved but only he did, calm and unbothered by my presence he began approaching me. His demeanor seemed strange, his gray eyes were the most unusual ones I had ever seen but I could see the power radiating from him. Unlike all the other rouges, he radiated the power of an....alpha.

But he was still a rouge and I could sense that.

He stood in front of me, his dark fur matched the darkness of the night that still had hours left to fade away.

There was no one around in this area, a pin drop silence existed around and no sign of life could be spotted anywhere except for the dead bodies of the border guards.

His stare was challenging as if provoking me to make a move and face the consequences.
